Meet Jazmine-Renae’ | CEO of Be-Jazzed Designs

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jazmine-Renae’ and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jazmine-Renae’, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
2020 was full of challenges and new adjustments for everyone. It forced a lot of people to open up their minds and become more creative. With that being said, I started trying to brainstorm other ways and ideas to remain financially comfortable in the middle of a pandemic. So one night, it literally came to me in a dream. It started off as a small idea, then grew from there!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
So my idea for Be-Jazzed started off as just bedazzling women’s slides. I created my first prototype for my dad’s girlfriend. Once I did those, more and more ideas came to me. I, then, started bedazzling literally anything; from sneakers, to phone cases, to flasks, to alcohol bottles. Literally anything! I believe that helps towards being a little different from other businesses doing the same thing. I’m really proud of myself for simply not stopping. Being a new business owner is hard work. In the early stages, you’re just trying to get recognized and that can be really hard to do and very easy to give up on. I’m literally learning as I’m going. I’m getting better with each new creation and can’t wait to see what else I can do.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Atlanta is definitely a beautiful city! A good place to start would be the High Museum. It’s filled with beautiful art pieces, with my favorite floor being the 4th floor. From there, let’s eat! So many places to choose from. Atlanta Fish Market is one of the best seafood spots in Atlanta. After that, if we want to get some good sight seeing, let’s hit Skyview Atlanta. It has a breathtaking view of Downtown Atlanta. I’m also a singer, so I love live music. There’s plenty of concerts that go on at Centennial Olympic Park. Also open mics all around the city!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Being an entrepreneur is no easy task! A support system is a must. You can’t do it alone. With that being said, I definitely have to shout out my parents. They are always my number one support system in everything I do. I also want to shoutout anyone who ever shared, liked, reposted or purchased anything towards my business. I can’t do it alone, so I just want to say thank you.
