We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaylen René and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jaylen, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is belief. If I didn’t believe I could achieve my goals, I simply wouldn’t. Everything in life starts with a belief, and I choose to trust in the capabilities that God has blessed me with.
My brands, The MogulJRS and Lovey by Jay René, would not have manifested into reality if I didn’t believe I could make them happen. Being a first-generation entrepreneur comes with its challenges, but it has also given me deep introspection—ultimately leading to newfound peace, balance, and authenticity.
I’m grateful to have the ability to think for myself, and through years of creating, aligning with my success, and learning invaluable lessons, I’ve come to realize just how important it is not only to believe in your power and potential but to act on it. We possess the power to create our lives however we please—but only if we believe we can.
My journey has taught me that there are greater forces working with and for us. And that belief alone has never led me wrong.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from the world is my ability to see things from a unique perspective. As a Projector in Human Design—one of only 20% of the population—I’ve learned that the world isn’t naturally designed for my energy type. Once I realized this, I began honoring myself and my capabilities more deeply. I have a rare gift: the ability to see beyond the average perspective.
One of my greatest superpowers is connection—not just connecting with people but guiding them toward a more aligned path. The frequency of my voice alone has been undeniably proven to inspire, motivate, and trigger millions, if not billions, of people around the world. That’s not something to take lightly!
What excites me most is the opportunity to create and expand upon my vision: building a high-fashion brand and becoming one of the biggest supermodels in the world. The process of manifestation itself keeps me going—because if I can see it in my mind, I know it’s already done. Mogul will go down in history as one of the greatest visionaries of all time, but that’s a journey that unfolds over time.
The power of intention and belief is what got me here. I have singlehandedly created the reality I’m experiencing because I believed in myself, trusted my heart’s desires, and took action to bring them closer. Why Jay René? Because why not? I know I deserve everything I want in this world, and I trust that God will always provide—even at the last second.
This journey hasn’t been easy, but it has been the most fulfilling experience of my life. Every challenge I’ve faced, I’ve given to God—because no problem is bigger than God, and I truly believe there’s nothing I can’t overcome. Reframing “failures” as necessary lessons has allowed me to extend grace and compassion to myself along the way. If you want to be a successful entrepreneur, you must learn how to self-regulate.
For the past six years, I’ve been studying the subconscious mind, creating numerous guides to help people along their journey. Mogul’s Method is my favorite—an in-depth, step-by-step guide that teaches how to use spiritual law, reprogram, and decondition the subconscious mind to manifest the life you desire. I even provide my bullet proof step by step manifestation technique at the end of the guide. (You do not need a technique to manifest.) My purpose on this Earth is to uplift consciousness through my unwavering authenticity and self expression. I aspire to be a role model, especially for young Black youth and Black girls in particular. I want the world to know that I am human—role models make mistakes, but I will never use my energy or influence with ill intent. My character will reveal itself through my work and my words.
My story has been consistent, and when it’s all said and done, I will emerge on a new level of the top. I’m creating my own lane—and there’s zero traffic over here. My advice? Stay down until you come up, remain patient, and trust in the power of time. Time is all we have, and I choose to believe it’s always working in my favor.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Honestly, I haven’t explored Atlanta as much as I’d like to since moving here. I first came to Atlanta from Boston in 2019 to attend Georgia State University. During the pandemic, I went back home to complete my sophomore year remotely, then returned to Atlanta in 2021. After graduating in 2023, I went all in on building my social media platforms.
I’m naturally more of a homebody, but this year, I made a vow to myself to go out more and experience different parts of the city. I’ve had the opportunity to visit some incredible establishments, like The Commerce Club, where I’ve been able to expand my business network.
For the past year, I’ve been hyper-focused on networking, perfecting my craft and doing everything necessary to get my foot in the door with fashion and modeling. But this year, I want to create a better balance between work and enjoying life.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There have been so many incredible people along my journey who have inspired me to keep going and have ignited an undeniable fire of passion within me. The Bud Bar community, in particular, has been a massive catalyst for my spiritual and personal growth.
As Abraham Hicks says, “One person connected to Source is more powerful than a hundred who aren’t.” Every person drawn to The Bud Bar is connected to Source, so you can only imagine how aligned every event feels.
I’ve been attending The Bud Bar events since The Scientist hosted her very first one in June 2024. Since then, I’ve built both a personal and business relationship with The Scientist and her community. I even had the incredible opportunity to work with The Scientist to create my custom herbal blend, Mogul Moves which has officially been on the menu since the Winter of 2024.
I am deeply grateful for The Scientist and The Bud Bar community—for their unwavering support, unconditional love, and their ability to embrace me, my ambition, and my vision. I know I am in alignment because of the people I continue to attract.
