Meet Jaycen Petti: Herbalife coach/clothing brand owner/designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaycen Petti and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jaycen, how do you think about risk?
At some point in your life you get tired of your current circumstances and you want more. Wanting more always require risk. The greater you want to become the greater risk you’ll have to take. Millionaires have lost hundreds, thousands, even hundreds of thousands to get where they are. There’s no such thing as not taking risk when you really want something and you have a purpose for it. I’ve lived in fear before, fear of failing, fear of disappointing others and myself. I was so afraid of failing that I was afraid to try but I realized that if I’m afraid to try I’ll never know the outcome, I’d never know if I’d be successful or not because I never tried. I knew what it felt like to quit, I knew that outcome, but I wanted to know what it felt like to keep going, what would the outcome be? What if it’s not so bad after all? It wasn’t until I took control over my weight and health and started working out consistently…I kept going, and I fell in love with the process and now I get to help others do the same, and make money doing it. I’ve also established a business for my clothing brand “Fidèle à soi” www.fideleasoi.com. I quit the highest paying job i ever had to continue to work on myself, my goals and create the life I want to live. I didn’t want to work on other peoples business, I wanted to work on my own. I don’t want to work for someone my whole life and then wait to retire to enjoy it I want be able to do what I love and enjoy life while doing it. The greater the risk the greater the reward, you always have to sacrifice good for great no matter how great good may seem to be, there’s always greater. If you could take something good in your life and make it great, wouldn’t you? What are you willing to risk?

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
With my Herbalife business I get to help people with their weight goals wether they are looking to lose or gain weight. As your Herbalife nutrition coach you get access to all of my nutrition and meal plans as well as workouts. I also do 1 on 1 training as well for those who have a certain goal but may need a little more help achieving it. What sets me apart from other trainers is that you don’t just get the workouts when you work with me, you get the nutrition too which is the most important part! I am most proud of the changes I made in my personal life that allowed me to be who I am and where I am today and I am most excited about the knowledge I continue to gain and the people I get to help along the way. It took a lot of dedication and consistency to get where I am today, no its not easy. I had to show up for myself everyday, even on days I didn’t want to, I had to show up on bad days, when I was tired, stressed, sad, angry. Working out is the one thing I’ve stuck to and that’s what keeps me going, the one thing I haven’t given up on doesn’t allow me to give up on myself. I overcame my challenges by stepping out of my comfort zone, even if I didn’t know what I was doing or what they outcome would be I did it anyway. I started posting more of my workout videos on my social media and started getting recognition for simply doing what I love. I learned that you don’t have to be perfect, you just have to do it and do it with passion, with purpose and everything else will fall into place. I want the world to know that whatever fitness goal you have is possible to achieve. It all starts with you. how bad do you really want it?
My clothing brand was established in 2019 and I released my first product (self love t shirts) in Febraury for valentines day. Fidèle à soi is French for “true to self” designed to encourange people to be there true selves no matter who or what you are. With my clothing line my designs are made by myself and placed on the garments by myself. I’m always excited to release new product or learn new ways to enhance my craft and designs. Many risk where taken when starting this business, I quit my job and invested a lot of money on product that didn’t sell. I’ve invested more money than I made back but was presented the chance to be a vendor at a pop up shop and made more money in one day with my business than I did in a month and that’s what keeps me going. It taught me that all of my product isn’t just going to fly off of the shelf overnight, there’s beauty in the process, your learn and you grow and you keep going. some days are better than others but how will you ever see your best day if you give up on your worst?
