Hi Jay, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process was how could I be different while bringing the best hair care possible for my clients.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets Tailored By Jay apart is the care that is added into the service. I always say, I can always make you look and feel pretty but does your hair feel the same. When I started, it took almost a year to get clients who understood that I only wanted the best for them and their hair. Once I got one client, I simply let time do its thing. But one thing this career has taught me is to always keep a student mentality.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am not the person to do any planning lol. I’ll ask the question “what do you want to do or feel like doing” before leaping out with a list of places. This is Atl, there is so much to do and places to eat I still get overwhelmed with options lol.
