We had the good fortune of connecting with Jay Mason and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jay, why did you pursue a creative career?
I’ve always been a creative person . I like the freedom of expression and this creative path has allowed me to truly unlock my greatest potential, helped me to meet new people, travel, and help others . It’s a path that allows me to be free.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My artwork is unique in its own right. As with any creative career I have experience challenges what with trying to make sales and making the right connections and what not all in all it’s still been a beautiful process. My artwork deals with more of the spiritual. My style of artwork is definitely something that I want to represent work that no one has ever seen before but can still relate to. With the help and motivation of family and friends and other loved ones that was the reason I also decided to truly get into doing creative ventures and it is really paid off .

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
