We had the good fortune of connecting with Javon Talley and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Javon, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Ever since i was a child, I knew I wanted to run my own business. The problem was I didn’t know what I wanted to do. Since elementary school, from 2nd grade to 6th grade I was called the candy man. And not because of the movie, but because when you found me on campus my book bag was filled with snacks and i would sell them, and came home with at least 30 dollars a day. But that wasn’t enough for me. I wanted to do more, I wanted to run a business that was going to be remembered for making a difference. When starting The Royal Falcon Brand i knew i had to create a business that not only felt exclusive but inclusive because this brand was and is for the people.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
So, The Royal Falcon Brand is a lifestyle management company. When people hear lifestyle management i know they think of bloggers & influencers but that is a small taste of what we offer. The brand is an incubator for success in 5 different areas. The first area is music. The Royal Falcon Brand are proud partners of music & distribution business I26 the label. With I26 we teach artist how to produce music, create graphic design, perform and own their craft as an artist. Our second area is podcasting. Morningstar Radio has been the voice of the brand since 2019. This podcast is where people can come and have a free therapy session while hitting major topics as well. Our next area is fitness. For us a health is very important. You can not enjoy a lifestyle if your not healthy, so the brand has specialize in being personal trainers and nutritionist. Next is giving back. Everything we do is for the people. When people ask how much money we make, we always laugh because we are not doing this for the money. Every quarter we donate money and clothes to our local shelters. And lastly, our final area is merchandise. Royal Falcon loves spreading the love and joy of helping people that we believe it should not just come to the people who works here. Our merchandise is a way for all of our supporters to rock our gear while doing something good if they feel like we inspire them.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
To eat we are going to Bad Daddy’s burger to get us a nice burger with a whiskey sour.
To drink we are starting the day off at a tasting distillery call the stripe pig then we are heading to park circle to go bar hopping.
Finally we had to Wild blue ropes for a fun obstacle course
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I wouldn’t be where I am today without my family help. And I’m not just talking about blood family. While I am greatful for the people that raised it was the people who shine a different light and perspective on life that has helped me in my story. People like Dre Porter, John Jenkins, Jean Lesperance, Georgia Nubia & Antwain Watson all have entered my life at moments I didn’t know I need them. They entered and helped shaped my brand into the success I am at now. I will always be in their debt for their consistency they have offer me.
