We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason “The Architect” Tolbert and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jason “The Architect”, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor that has helped me is CONSISTENCY! Me being a Certified Branding Coach and a Branding Mogul, in my own right, consistency is ultimately what creates your brand. Anything that you do consistently is what people will say about or call you behind your back. If you are consistently late, then you’ll become branded as the one who is always late, If you are consistently dressed well, then you’ll become branded as the one who always dresses well. If you are consistently putting on great events, innovatively creating opportunities for others, influencing the city to follow you in making effective change, or giving it all that you have when speaking or emceeing an event, then you’ll be Branded as “The Architect.” I was affectionately coined as “The Architect” because I have been consistent with building businesses, events, talent, brands, dreams, and visions. After I got over the compliment, I immediately accepted the RESPONSIBILITY of the name. Jason “The Architect” is a serial entrepreneur, owning a total of 4 businesses. Consistency has landed him a city of loyal followers, his own Radio Show on 107.9 FM (on Jacksonville’s largest Gospel/Inspiration stations in all of Jacksonville and some parts of Georgia.), countless News and Television interviews, and a host of partners and vendors. The Architects motto and message is “Celebrate you, even if it’s by yourself!”

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets me apart is consistency and creativity. . Everything that I do is very strategically thought out, planes, and executed and is always done in a way that is not typical or has not been done before. I am most proud of the mere fact that I (definitely with the help of God) was able to build a successful brand for myself within as little as 3 years. Most local people that are in my industry has the super and backing from former classmates and teachers, neighbors, church members, co-workers, etc but me, NOPE! After 3 years of hard work and consistency, Brick by brick and stone by stone, The Architect has successfully positioned himself to be viewed as his industry’s Leader, a national public figure and influencer, and most importantly a Change Agent for the betterment of man kind. One thing that I have definitely learned is that everything you move to the next level, that means you are in transition and with any transition theres a moving from one place to another. Anytime you move from one place to another (literally and figuratively) you take some things with you and you leave others. For every time someone gets those two things confused there will be a RUDE AWAKENING! I lost an entire team of 8 during a particular transition period in my life. Because I didn’t let them go, as I knew that I should do, life got rid of them for me and IT WAS UGLY! Taking people or things on your “new level” where they don’t belong and have no business, it FALL APART as opposed to you simply letting them go out seeing them free, as I like to call it. My brand is all about pushing forward, being consistent, connecting people, influencing the world, Speaking for a living, being an asset to the entrepreneur community, and a positive contributor to the city of Jacksonville, FL

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a shot out to every single follower, vendor, partner, contractor, performer, speaker, volunteer, and and donor who has EVER given time, money, energy, ideas, products, services, love, and prayers. It’s truly only because of them that the Jason “The Architect” Tolbert Brand has been a continued success. When I get down, discouraged, or feel defeated I think of each of these people and quickly pick myself up and get back on my track.
