We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jason, how do you think about risk?
Risk is an unavoidable pursuit!! That we are all going to have to take one day in life whether it’s investing, business or even just our day to day life. Once you set yourself on a path to accomplish something you are going have to take risks. Risk play a major role in my life especially in the starting process of my career, because when I started my business ventures I didn’t have a mentor so I had to risk it all and just learn from each failure and set back as i grow,I have always hear the bigger the risk the bigger the reward.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
At Hummingbird kitchen and bath we specialize in kitchen and bathroom renovation, and finished carpentry. We also provide sub contractoring services for a few designers and cabinet companies installing cabinets.

Our integrity and passion for what we do is what separates us apart from our competition. we take pride in what we do, doesn’t matter how small or how big the job is. The aim is to always exceed our clients expectations. The overwhelming joy of the clients reaction after each project is completed, is what I am always proud and excited about. Quality products, services, reviews and marketing is what get us here.

Starting a business is never easy and will never be easy, because it’s going to build you and break you. However it will definitely worth the reward, opportunity and lifestyle that it creates

My definite aim is what helps me the most to overcome the challenges i face along the journey, because it always reminds me why I started and what the end result is.

I want the name Hummingbird kitchen and bath llc to become a company name nation wide where clients can always alway depend on us no matter the service they require!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The Avalon in alaphertta is my favorite place to eat, drink and hangout. Its give me the ability to meet successful entrepreneurs and CEO as well. I love car meets and cigar bar as well.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family most definitely because sometimes when i feel like throwing in the towel i just have to stop and think about them more than myself knowin that they are depending on me. Think and grow rich by napoleon hill book definitely helps play a major role into who I am today because the steps prepare me for what life was going to throw at me as I venture throughout life
