Meet Jason McKinney | Production Company (Omni Productions)

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason McKinney and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jason, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factors behind my brand are God, love & my wife. Without these three contributing factors I wouldn’t be where I am. I have to give the biggest shoutout to God! He covered me while I was lost and while I was angry with him after my sister’s death in 2015. Being in that darkness for so long I lost sight of who was and who I wanted to become. It wasn’t until 2023 that I sought to rekindle our relationship and it’s been a beautiful journey ever since. I would be lying if I said getting here was easy. I fought with myself for so long because I made so many mistakes that I felt were so hard to get past. Until I met my wife. She saw everything in me that I had become so blind to. I remember her asking me, “Why won’t you let the world see what I see?”. Thinking about that question brings tears to my eyes because I remembered how scared I was to let people really see me. My flaws, my mistakes and my fears. I self sabotaged so much it had become second nature. Then I realized she loved me anyway, and if she can why can’t I? Her love taught me to love myself. I could finally see me again. I became hopeful, I dreamed, I even reached for things others deemed impossible. I felt like I could fly! Love had become my cure. I used God, love and the family me and my wife built as fuel to conquer every obstacle set in my path. I’m forever grateful for them and I’ll spend the rest of my days living life and building in their honor. I want to leave it all on the floor while God grants me breath. So here’s to God, family and love. Thank you.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The biggest thing I had to overcome was me. Looking in the mirror and getting out of my on way was tough. It’s hard to admit your choices are your biggest issue. If I’m being honest once I conquered me it was so liberating! I was free to become who God intended me to be. My cup is so full I wake up wanting to pour into anyone I come into contact with. Honestly this journey has taught me how to connect, how to see greatness in everyone! I live to bring it out of people so we can be great together! God wanted us to all enjoy his fruits and I want to plant seeds with him. My story is my testimony and I use it to relate connect and build.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Honestly I’d bring them to my home, so they could experience what it’s like to be in a place where it’s nothing but love. I value places where I’m valued and I feel that at home or at my mother in laws house! Lol.
