We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasnique Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jasnique, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson my business and career have taught me is that consistency and boundaries are key. Talent will get you noticed, but discipline and structure will keep you booked. I’ve learned to stand on my policies, value my time, and trust that the right clients will always respect my work and my process

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My work is clean, simple, and intentional. I focus on the basics—neat nails, good prep, and designs that are timeless. I’m not heavy on detailed or trendy art; I prefer a more minimal, polished look that still stands out in its own way.

Getting here definitely wasn’t easy. There were a lot of moments where I questioned if I was doing enough or doing it right. I had to learn a lot on my own, push through doubt, and stay focused on why I started. What helped me most was staying consistent and trusting that my style would attract the right people.

One thing I’ve learned is to stay true to what you’re good at. You don’t have to do everything—just do what you do well, and do it with care.

At the end of the day, it’s more than just nails. It’s about helping people feel good about themselves, even in the small details. That’s what my brand is about—simple, clean work that makes people feel confident.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was in town for a week, we’d definitely make the most of it without overdoing it. First stop would be the Beltline for sure. I love being out there, hitting up the parks, walking around, and checking out the little shops along the way. It’s the perfect mix of chill and fun.

For food, we’d try a mix of good local spots, maybe brunch at a cute café, then dinner somewhere with a nice vibe. I’m not too big on the club scene, so our nights would probably be more laid-back, maybe some rooftop spots for good views and drinks or a nice lounge where we can actually talk and enjoy the atmosphere.

We’d also check out some parks to unwind, maybe visit a few art galleries or pop-up markets since I love exploring creative spaces. There’s always something happening around the city, so we’d find a good balance of relaxing and discovering new spots.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mom and dad for sure , also all my clients for trusting the process and believing in me.
