We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Tilman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jasmine, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
It all started with my passion for writing books. Once I received my business and management design certification I discovered the power of networking. I began to figure out what I wanted to be and how I would attain this goal to achieve it. Which was being a Life coach. I always knew I wanted to help people and I realized that my tone of voice and my message to others helped them in life changing ways which was mind blowing to me.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am in the midst of launching an enterprise. That is going to be featuring my Life coaching services, publishing company, and speaking agency. I am most proud of my achievements with the power of networking, also being that I fell down more than a few times I managed to pick my head back up and continue to fight for my happiness and goals needed to be met for this to happen. It was not easy at all, especially if you choose to do things the right way. And I mean no short cuts to your success that a lot of people tend to turn to for temporary abundance. Me on the other hand is looking for longevity so it’s taking me a little longer but it will last a life time. I’ve learned a few lessons along the way such as believing in the power of prayer and giving it to the Lord for he is the master and will take care of you no matter what. It may seem that things aren’t working in your favor but they are.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I just moved here 6 months ago so I would say my favorite place to be is Andretti indoor karting and games in Marietta. It was amazing to see/have different areas to do all the fun things I like, like go-carting, bowling and eating.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to first thank God for granting me the gift of who I am. I want to secondly shoutout my business coach C’ Renee Mangum. She has assisted me to flourish within my social media outlet, business presence, and people needed to further my career. I especially want to thank my editor, Zambia Geiger for taking me in once I first started and teaching me a lot! I want to thank Goddess Tammy Marie for helping me get into my very first bookstore in Georgia! Also for her amazing advice and helping me to push myself in more ways than I imagined.
