We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Russell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jasmine, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I believe taking a risk will always result in reward. By this statement, I don’t mean that everything will ALWAYS work out but rather everything is always working for you and not against you. When things don’t work out in my favor or how I expected it to, there’s still a lesson to be learned that will help you excel. Taking risk has played a major part in my life/career because I’m going to always find a way to go after exactly what I want, regardless of the risk factor. I’m a strong believer in walk by faith and not by sight.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m the business owner of SignedByLashaye on Instagram, offering custom signs for all events. This includes wedding/party signs, milestone boards, advertisement and more. I’m most excited to be getting started on my journey as a new Realtor servicing Atlanta and all surrounding areas. The journey getting here has definitely not been easy. The biggest lesson I’ve learned along the way is to honestly never give up. When you truly want something no obstacle encountered will stop you from truly achieving your goals. I would say I’ve gotten this far by determination, when my mind fixates on a goal I feel motivated to make it happen. If I can visualize it, I can make it reality.

What I want the world to know about my brand story is that it’s being built on hard work and dedication. It’s easy to see people’s success, the benefits and the highlights of their life and think it happened over night. A lot of the things I’m achieving are things that I’ve long waited to accomplish and it’s finally here and happening.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would start with a self care day of nails, toes and a good massage. Honestly, almost all of the nail salons in Buckhead have a luxury vibe and serve wine to give you that top tier experience while you pamper yourself. For massages, we would go to Lenox massage & spa – it’s such a nice experience and very serene. It’s also right next to Toast, perfect little brunch/day spot to have good food.

I would also make sure we stop by The Works, Westside Provisions and Colony Square. They all offer so many food options and cute, aesthetic vibe to have a good outing with your best friend

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shoutout goes to my family and friends. Those that know me personally, know that I am a very family oriented person. I believe your support system plays a major role in your success. For me, my family and friends have always 100% supported my endeavors and encouraged me even in my moments where I didn’t believe in myself. They are always reminding me of who I am in a sense and motivating me to go after everything I want in life.

The support is truly unmatched.
