We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jasmine, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Starting your own business is great but it’s not for the weak. There will be times you’re not motivated and want to give up but you have to keep pushing if that’s something you really want.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I haave always had a love for cosmetics, lips gloss, any type of skin or body care. But I never thought I would be starting my own business. A few months after I had my son in 2019 I decided I wanted to start my own lip gloss line which was called ‘JasGlamCosmetics’ in June 2020. Even though I had a love for lipgloss, I started to branch off to skin & body products and then eventually feminine hygiene. I eventually ended up rebranding my business to ‘Hustle Pretty’ which is now based on feminine hygiene, skin, & body.

At Hustle Prety, we believe that every woman deserves to feel confident and love her body. That’s why we create natural products specifically designed for women helping them to care for and celebrate their yoni. Our playful, girly approach to self-care is rooted in our commitment to empowering women to embrace their femininity and feel their best every day.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Atlanta has so many fun things and great restaurants to visit! I would love to take her to Breakfast at Barney’s for brunch. They have the best salmon cakes! Then we would visit your 3rd spot which is games , drinks, & a whole vibe! We will go take a walk and hangout at Piedmont park then finish off dinner at Negril ATL.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband has always been right here through my journey. He listens to any ideas that I may have whether they are good or bad. So I give credit to him 100%.
