Meet Jasmine Jeffrey | CEO of Ghiaudii & Poet

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Jeffrey and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jasmine, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success was my mindset. I had to get out of my own way. A lot of times it was me being afraid, worry about what could go wrong and just letting the negative thoughts cause me to hesitate on going for what I wanted. Once I took control of my mind and focused on what could go right I got more attached to what I wanted as opposed to what could prevent that. From there I literally attracted it all while putting in the work. A big struggle for me was also not caring what others thought about the path I wanted to take.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a poet, it’s crazy! I had been writing my whole life since a kid and just never mentioned it. It was simply a way to get my emotions out without later regretting it. One day I posted a poem on women mistreating men on Facebook and over night it had millions of views. Someone had screen recorded it from my private page and shared it. People became interested in all my other poems. I had so much love and support from that and of course some hate. I wasn’t mentally ready for all the “clout” so I fell back. Once I later saw and understood that’s just how things work I got back to it but on Instagram too this time. Back then videos could only be 60secs so I turned my poems into raps over beats. My first one it spread like crazy as well. I was at a really dark place in life so I really didn’t care but that was the key. I didn’t care what people would say and did what I loved to do and what made me feel good. The love and attention was a bonus. The stuff I was going through made fire topics/content. To see people writing me, sharing my stuff, saying they’re a fan, and letting me know how they can relate felt better than anything. I love rap/poetry and just how it make you realize your not the only one to go through what you’re going through. Now I get asked to performs my poems live and occasionally do features. What sets me apart is I have the look where I could go the sexy, seductive route but I talk about real life issues, society, the industry, relationships. I don’t capitalize on the sex sells. I want women to know you can be “bad”, done up or sexy while having depth, substance and knowledge.
The other side of me is business. I love helping people so I wanted to make a business out of something else I love. I help entrepreneurs by being their one stop shop to get up and running. I thoroughly studied Supply Chains, Logistics, and how to maximize profit. I am a Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager by day. So I figured why not take what I do for “the man” and do for in my community. I moved to Atlanta which is the Mecca of minority entrepreneurship these days and got to it. I love not only growing my network, but helping to growing peoples dreams without them getting got. I have a warehouse in China and UK where I order and store products but get them directly from the factory that makes them and no, not no DH Gate, Alibaba, Aliexpress. Most people don’t know they’re third party suppliers as well charging 3-10x times the factory price or more all because the website eliminates the language barrier.
Theses companies are good for saving money for individuals but for a business buying in bulk, you want top quality for bottom dollar. I have a whole inspection team where you can inspect your actual products before approving them to ship either to you or your customers with your custom packaging. We can ship anything from furniture, clothes, kitchenware, beauty supplies, electronics, art, custom signs, etc . It’s literally an international marketplace of factories my agents have contracted. I love going into my customers business or seeing them online selling products they got from me. I feel like the godmother of my clients businesses. Like their business is their baby, but I’m by their side making sure the baby is good lol I’m always excited because their success is mine as well.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout to all those who supports myself and others. I had a rough upbringing and very humble beginnings but never wanted to moved or looked like where/what I came from, just where I wanted to go. There are people who support once you’re at a certain place where your success is very noticeable and those who see it in you even when you can’t . Along my journey I had several entrepreneurs really show me the way, invested in my growth, or simply had our businesses join forces for a project or common goal. Also a book called “You Can Have What You Want If You Find It Within Yourself” by Robert E Russell. I cheated and listened to the audible lol but it was a breakthrough book. Had me cry and realize I had full control of my success all along. It really teaches you how the mind, life, affirmations and laws of attraction work, how AND why!
