We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaqailah Bell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jaqailah, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?

Honestly, I’d have to say it’s simply being consistent. I’ve found that staying on top of my game, keeping things organized, showing up consistently, and having an amazing support system have been the driving factors behind the success of my brand.

Being consistent on social media has been like watering a plant—you do it regularly, and before you know it, you’ve got a flourishing garden full of collaborations, brand sponsorships, and a supportive community cheering you on every step of the way. This journey has been incredibly rewarding.

It also helps that I genuinely love what I do as a content creator. I mean, seriously, creating content isn’t just a job for me—it’s a passion. Whether I’m trying out a new restaurant or experience, highlighting a small business, or exploring hidden gems in the city, it never feels like work. I believe that passion shines through in everything I share with my audience.

Please tell us more about your art. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
What sets me apart from others in the content creation world? I’d have to say it’s my willingness to think outside the box and march to the beat of my own drum by showing up as my authentic self and creating content in my own way. I’ve never been one to follow trends or do as others do.

Getting to where I am today professionally definitely wasn’t as easy as it may seem. There were plenty of challenges along the way, from overthinking my content style and how I wanted to present my content to the world, navigating the ever-changing algorithms of social media to finding my unique voice in a crowded space. I finally realized I had to stop holding myself back and just put myself out there, and I’m so glad I finally took that leap of faith.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is to not be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone and the importance of creating a content schedule for myself to keep me on track and accountable. It’s all about networking and finding that balance between consistency and quality.

Now, when it comes to my content, I’m proud to say that it’s not solely focused on the greater Atlanta area. Don’t get me wrong, I love showcasing all the amazing things Atlanta has to offer, but I’m also passionate about exploring other cities across the US and even internationally. Whether it’s a hidden gem in a small town or a lively city halfway across the globe, I’m always on the lookout for new adventures to share with my audience.

I also have a passion for promoting small businesses and assisting in their growth. I love supporting local entrepreneurs and helping them thrive in an area where most small businesses struggle – social media marketing. Whether it’s shining a spotlight on a family-owned restaurant or promoting a mom-and-pop shop, I love using my platform to lift others up and make a positive impact in my community.

So, what do I want the world to know about me and my brand? Simply put, I’m just a woman who is all about living life unfiltered through food and travel, on a mission to uplift small businesses and inspire others to explore the world and live every day to the fullest. I couldn’t be more grateful for the journey that has brought me to where I am today and I’m excited for what’s to come in the future.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

It’s funny you ask this question, because I am the unofficial travel planner amongst my family and friends. When someone wants to visit Atlanta, they always hit me up asking what the best spots are to go to. And of course, I naturally have a full list of places they should check out while in the A. Now keep in mind, my friends are foodies and not into the party scene as much anymore.  So, if I was to plan a friend’s Atlanta itinerary it would look a little something like this:

Sunday Funday:

–       Church at Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral
–       Brunch at Another Broken Egg, Milk & Honey Cascade, or Party of 5
–       Ponce City Market including The Roof

During the week, we’d do touristy things like:
–       Take a ride on the Peachtree Trolley Tour
–       Visit the King Center
–       Visit the Trap Music Museum
–       Grab food at Fin & Feathers or American Deli – lemon pepper wings are a must!
–       Catch a Hawks, Falcons, or Braves Game
–       Stroll through Piedmont Park or the Beltline

Last day:
–       Brunch at Toast on Lenox or Gocha’s Breakfast Bar
–       Ride on Skyview Atlanta
–       Dinner at Lickety Split Southern Kitchen & Bar

And that, my friends, is how you show someone the best time ever in Atlanta! From foodie adventures to cultural explorations and everything in between, there’s never a dull moment in the A-T-L.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

I’d love to dedicate my shoutout to my incredible support system that has been there for me every step of the way—my parents, friends, family, and even some amazing new friends I’ve met along this fun journey.

My friends and family are the silent heroes behind the scenes. They’re always ready to lend a helping hand, offer up some much-needed constructive feedback, or always there to cheer me on and keep me grounded. If it wasn’t for them pushing me to get started with creating content, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

So, here’s to all of you, especially Tionne and John—ya’ll the real MVPs. Thank you for believing in me, pushing me to be the best version of myself, and reminding me that I’m never alone on this creative adventure. Cheers to many more memories, collaborations, and successes!
