We had the good fortune of connecting with Janeen and Joi Emrld Clothing and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Janeen and Joi, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
To just start, we often overthink our ideas, our plans, our next move. You have to just take a risk and go for it! If God gave you the idea then you better believe there is a way to bring it to fruition

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are a health and wellness brand and there aren’t very many brands like ours with people that look like us running them. We take our health very serious and it has always been at the forefront of everything we do. We are not just a fashion line, we embody everything from skincare to staying fit and healthy! We have always been into wellness, and being conscious of not only what you put on your body but what goes in it, is at the center of what the EMRLD brand stands for. There are always challenges, especially when you don’t follow the “crowd” or do whatever it takes to “get on” but we face those challenges head on and we do it with grace. We are determined to continue to set the bar high while setting ourselves apart from the rest. Our brand is truly who we are, it represents us and everything we believe in and we take pride in that!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
