We had the good fortune of connecting with Jamie Bonfante and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jamie, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
One thing outsiders are likely aware of when it comes to the wedding content creation industry is that the final product is visually stunning and perfectly tailored for social media—highlight reels that feature emotional moments, aesthetic details, and on-trend edits set to popular audio.

What many don’t realize, however, is the level of strategy, intentionality, and behind-the-scenes effort that goes into creating content that feels both candid and cohesive. From navigating tight timelines and coordinating with vendors, to working discreetly alongside photographers and videographers while managing multiple devices and shot lists, wedding content creators wear many hats throughout the day. It’s not just about capturing beautiful moments—it’s about telling a story in real time and delivering meaningful, shareable memories within hours.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art lives in the in-between moments—the ones that aren’t posed or rehearsed, but deeply felt. As a wedding content creator, I specialize in capturing the raw, unfiltered behind-the-scenes of a wedding day: the shaky hands before the first look, the deep breath before walking down the aisle, the tearful hugs with grandma, and the laughter when no one thinks a camera is rolling. What sets me apart is not just the content I create, but the intention behind it. I’m not just filming moments—I’m preserving emotions that couples didn’t even know they’d want to remember.

What I’m most proud of is how quickly this industry has grown and how I’ve carved out space in it, especially in Greenville, South Carolina, where I became the first to offer this kind of service. I launched BTS With Bonfante to give couples a way to relive the most meaningful parts of their day within hours—not months. The turnaround time, emotional authenticity, and storytelling-first approach are what I’m most excited to keep delivering and evolving.

Getting to where I am today professionally was not easy. Like most passion-fueled paths, it came with doubt, imposter syndrome, long hours, and a lot of trial and error. I had to educate people on what wedding content creation even was, while simultaneously proving its value. But with every booking, every emotional thank-you message, and every shared reel that made a couple cry happy tears, I knew I was doing something that mattered.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that clarity and connection matter more than perfection. If the moment is real, people will feel it. I’ve also learned that building a brand takes time, intention, and the right people in your corner—and I’m beyond grateful for my support system, especially my husband, Hostyn, who is not only the name behind my business, but the quiet force that keeps me grounded and dreaming bigger.

What I want the world to know is that BTS With Bonfante is more than a content service. It’s a mission to help people stay present in the most important moments of their lives while still preserving them beautifully. My story is still being written, but it’s one built on heart, hustle, and a love for moments that matter.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to visit Greenville for a week, I’d treat them to the perfect mix of local charm, good eats, and scenic views. We’d start with coffee at Methodical and a stroll through Falls Park, then explore local gems like Tandem Creperie, Hampton Station, and the Swamp Rabbit Trail. We’d hike at Table Rock, take in the views at Pretty Place, unwind with wine at Urban Wren, and dress up for dinner at Hall’s Chophouse. From rooftop drinks at Up on the Roof to vintage shopping in the Village of West Greenville, every day would be filled with creativity, good food, and unforgettable memories.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
A little love for the one who’s been my rock behind the scenes and the name behind the brand—my husband, Hostyn Bonfante 🤍 From cheering me on during late-night edits to reminding me of my worth on the hardest days, he’s been my biggest supporter since day one. BTS With Bonfante wouldn’t be what it is without him, and I’m forever grateful for the heart, encouragement, and quiet strength he brings to this journey.
