Meet Jamal Johnson | Media mogul

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jamal Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jamal, do you disagree with some advice that is more or less universally accepted?
Burning bridges is the one piece of conventional advice I disagree with. I believe in Nuking the Bridges.
There is more than one way to get to an end point or goal. If you are creative. When people act like one person can end your world or stop your goals if you burn a bridge is stupid.
Make your own door or way and destroy the bridge. If there is water under the bridge, swim to the other side or make a boat to get across. Being afraid to stand up for yourself because you may burn a bridge is totally for the uninitiated.

What should our readers know about your business?
EBNY.tv started off as a TV network that only featured content from African American content creators. Now we have transition to a Cable TV Sevice Provider that is a house for Black owned TV networks.
We have about 68k watchers per month and is available world wide because of the internet based build.
“EBNY.tv is a hybrid cable tv network”
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Hanging out with me for a day or even a week would be the most interesting time of your life because I am random. There would be no itinerary because I would just go places, try places to eat on a spur of the moment.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I need to thank my wife and kids for always riding with me no matter how crazy the idea is. I also need to Thank all that said no to me because it sharpened me as a blade. But most importantly. Thank you to those who have been there, said yes and continue to be there for me when shit hits the fan. Books. Richard Preston’s the Hot Zome and the Ecode.
