We had the good fortune of connecting with Jahleill Deloacth and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jahleill, what role has risk played in your life or career?

The way I think about taking risks is you’re either going to succeed or fail. Risk-taking is the key to my creative career in producing. The risk myself & the team takes in creating a season determines how we get paid and viewed. It’s challenging sometimes because you never know what idea will be the risk that succeeds.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?

At this moment, I am most proud to be a producer for a 100k subscriptions youtube channel. I got to where I am today by advocating for myself. A lot of people don’t know that I was in school for sociology and I was completely lost there. I took time to find myself & the passions I had in me. That break I took led me to web series producing. The biggest lesson I’ve learned right now is to understand the position I hold and also that everything doesn’t need a response from Jahleill. What I want people to take from my story is that life is really what you make it & how the importance of being yourself matters. A lot of times I’ve only had me & my character which led me to meet the most influential people in my life.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When I’m back home in boston my favorite places to party is either Bussdown fridays at legacy or hot mess sundays at candibar . We going to eat at 2twenty2 , tavern in the square & pitstop. When I’m in atlanta I like the most ratchet time. We at bulldogs, the marquette & any after hour following. I need to expand my food horizon in atlanta because when I’m there all I eat is cookout & waffle house..

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am definitely couldn’t do this without my family & friends . I want to shoutout my parents & siblings.. My cousin BigBody Kweeng who nominated for my first magazine. Karon wilson & Gemini flimz for giving me the platform. Alexis benoit for being my pastor. I would also like to recognize Kingdom builders worship center . My church at the time was the first place I ever did anything in media.
