Meet Jade Roberts: Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jade Roberts and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jade, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I’ve always intuitively been artistic. I never really viewed it as a career, just more of an unfiltered ventilation system for me. It ties in alot with my belief system and how I release my emotions, theories and messages from my God. I saw people having a platform to spread to the masses and always thought to myself, “wow. imagine if someone with that platform had an undying passion for Christ?” So I use my gift and passion for the Word of God in strong faith that I will have a platform to spread His messages.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is all about internal liberation. I feel what sets me apart is the transparency in my music. I dont like to sugarcoat or lie about my situation and how i feel inside no matter how it seems. I’m the most proud about my journey. God is my mainpoint and Christ is my guide. I keep them near and make that very known. It’s not easy being an artist focused on internal progression rather than income. I havent overcame all the obstacles yet to be honest but i just keep strong faith and keep going no matter what. Im learning that i cant let losses discourage me. I’m finding motivation in challenges lately. I want them to know that the Word of God is real, alive and that my music are messages for the masses.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m very simple when it comes to going out i dont care for heavy crowds. usually a beach head maybe take them to dine at 1 of many spots along the strip of the beach. Get a drink at Fat Tuesdays in Las Olas or Rockbar. Sit by the waves and chop it up. i love vent sessions and just relaxing scenery. Not the biggest fan of crazy crowds. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
1st things 1st I give all praises to my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. My sister is a main part of my story. She is a backbone when im lacking my own. My mother has always been supportive of me regardless of my choices. my brothers (too many to name) but all of them have instilled in my game that people have to pay for nowadays. My family is my main support system and only 1 that truly matters to me.
