We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacqueline Schadeck and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jacqueline, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
My businesses help 1st generation millionaires meet their full potential. As a Generational Wealth Expert, I help people define their goals while identifying and fulfilling their weak points allowing them to make more money. We then use that money to make more money making them, more often than not, the first millionaire in their family.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As a Financial Advisor and Generational Wealth Expert, it’s my duty to help others achieve their financial goals. I have deep conversations with my clients about things no one else is discussing with them; financial trauma, wealth building from scratch, and leaving a legacy. The truth is, once a client can come to terms with these areas, the financial planning becomes easy. Not only do we have these conversations, but I actually implement the plan for my clients, from helping them discover their value, to creating their dream professional team(CPA, Attorney, etc.), to managing their investments, I do it all with my clients.

The reason I created this tailored service is because I watched my family fall victim to poor financial advice and I wanted to become the go-to person for financial guidance, For more about why I do what I do you can see my other VoyageATL interview. I’ve learned a lot of lessons along the way; how the financial planning industry works (fee-only), how to design an investment portfolio, but the most important thing I have learned is patience. Patience in life is paramount to your success and mental health. It’s part the reason I wrote my book, Money Planning and Positivity because I realized so much of a person’s financial success is deeply rooted in their habits and mental wealth. I hope this book can meet others where they are and help them elevate to the next level.
I’m most excited for two projects I’m a part of right now. The first is the UNCENT$ORED show where I am a co-host for a Forbes top ten podcast discussing all things finance, entrepreneurship, and business, UNCENT$ORED style. I want to see us grow our viewership and be able to lead more people to financial independence.
The next project is Pocket Advisor. Pocket Advisor is the #1 Financial Social Network for 1st Generation Millionaires. Where We Do Money, Together™. The platform is truly transformational, bringing together financial/entrepreneurial experts and consumers who want to learn more about personal finance and have a home for vetted financial information and community. You can find me giving my expertise on both platforms outside of working one-to-one with my clients. I want people to see me and know that if I can achieve my goals that they can too. Almost anything you want is in reach, you just need a plan to get there.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love when people come to visit me from out of town. Atlanta is such a rich city as far as history and culture is concerned. A few notable things that I make sure my guests see (COVID protocol dependent) are structured around Civil rights, food and entertainment. We have several monuments/museums that preserve remembrance of the civil rights movement in the south and I want my guests to experience and learn about this. Of course, we’re going to eat while we’re out and enjoy entertainment at the same time. We are home to Coca-Cola and we have an entire attraction just for them. Additionally, I want them to eat at other notable places with good food. We have the restaurants associated with 2 Chainz here – Escobar, Esco Seafood, so I want them to experience those as well as the Sundial, Mama’s for a quick taco spot, and Triton yards for the food truck park to name a few. Our itinerary is definitely me picking them up in a sports car and taking them on this tour of the city – brunch included!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout is dedicated to all those who feel or have felt small at some point in their financial journey. Changing your financial situation is not easy and I want to make sure people have a go-to place for answers.
