We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacinto Hall and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Bringing All Genres Of Music Under One Roof, One Person, and One Sound. This is my motto. I have been hired by many clients who love diversity because I rock all genres of music. I love bringing cultures, nations, races, and tribes together on the dance floor, especially during weddings. It’s a fantastic sight and feeling to rock a Greek Indian wedding, American Kenyan wedding, Dutch Dominican wedding, Italian Indian wedding, Vietnamese Chinese wedding, and much more. In addition, I thoroughly enjoy setting the musical atmosphere for conferences. The right song at the right time always adds to the participants’ engagement and helps drive home the point of the discussion.
I come from a family of DJs. My dad is a Dj who has been rocking parties since the 70s, and my younger brother since the mid-2000s. So, you can say it’s in our blood. I started working with my dad as early as when I was fifteen. I did my first party in the early 90’s (a college party) and continued rocking parties. In the late 90s, I started during weddings, and in 2004, I launched my business. Since then, I have been blessed to touch the 1’s & 2’s for crowds ranging from 50 people to 5000 party people. I have been able to rock parties, conferences, weddings, and special events in 15 different states and 2 different countries.
One of the biggest things I learned in my business is always treat every client with the same integrity and passion. I was hired to do a simple birthday party for a small crowd. It was put together last minute and not very organized. I went ahead and accepted the gig and provided my services. Out of that gig, I got one of my significant gigs, which I do annually.
One of the most challenging obstacles for me was breaking the color barrier. Earlier in my career, I was rejected for many gigs because of the color of my skin. I finally got an opportunity through one of my white friends who wanted me to do his corporate company party. I had 3 interviews with his manager for a simple company holiday party. You would have thought I was interviewing for a six-figure job. I got the gig and provided excellent services, and everyone was well pleased, especially his manager, who was on the dance floor the whole night. I used this experience to branch out and start breaking the color barriers.
Lastly, I am Afro-Latino. I was born in Panama. I am fluent in Spanish and English, a significant part of my rocking all genres motto.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes, my dad taught me how to Dj and told me never to stick to one music genre. My brother for always giving me helpful tips throughout my journey. My mom for putting up with a house full of DJs. In addition, my Traffic, Sales, & Profit (TSP) family for our incredible partnership. Lastly, my lovely wife and son for their constant support and belief in my talents.
