We had the good fortune of connecting with Ja’ Camille and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ja’, is there something you believe many others might not?
“Good things comes to those who wait”… For me, I believe in going for exactly what you want and desire as time waits for no one. By standing still, you may just miss out on what you’ve been longing for because you’re not in the place or space of where you should be. I believe in patience but Be in alignment. Be present . Be working. Be preparing. Feel gratitude for what the future holds. But Whatever dream, goal, desire you have, start moving into that direction. No matter how fast or slow, just go…
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I have a few businesses but Lets start off with the one dearest to my heart. I am the owner of Baddies Breakin Barriers LLC which is a non – profit women’s organization. BBB was initially created to build a sisterhood amongst women from all walks of life. It has now grew into an organization that gives back to our communities, uplift our youth, and provide valuable resources to the public. While we build bonds, we build business.
I am the CEO of Camell’s Care Cleaners LLC which is a family owned and operated cleaning company. Camell’s Care Cleaners LLC provides residential & commercial cleaning services to the Atlanta and Chicago areas. We hire the most professional and reliable cleaners with great integrity to provide quality cleaning services to our clients. We are dedicated to become the largest, reputable cleaning company in the world therefore, we strive to provide quality and affordable services.
Lastly, I am a digital content creator. I produce entertaining material (video, skits, etc) via social media platforms for myself, brands, business owners, and other entrepreneurs. My audience is broad as my content varies considering my daughter works alongside on some skits. But my main audience is geared towards women with relatable situations. Overall, we have a great and supportive audience and absolutely love what we do. We have high hopes to expand in the entertainment industry and look forward to whats to come.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So, I just relocated to Atlanta from Chicago so I’m pretty much learning the city still. But so far, I have a few places a frequent. Breakfast? I am in love with Mojave restaurant. All my friends know if you’re looking for me between 9am – 1pm, I’m most likely there lol. It’s a Latin American restaurant and I can honestly say everything on the breakfast menu is scrumptious! In addition, the restaurant’s décor is amazing. The outdoor patio is surrounded by a lake. In my opinion, break taking. Dinner? I would suggest Little Alley steak house in Buckhead. The restaurant décor is cozy and subtle. they too have an outdoor patio along with an outdoor bar. The food is very flavorful and portion size is great. Overall A+ in my book as well. Visiting here, I would say visit the Botanical garden for a nature experience, Trap Music Museum for the culture experience, and the Beltline for sightseeing. Anything else, you’d be better off asking a true Atlantan lol.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
This may seem a bit abnormal, but honestly and whole heartedly, my shout out goes to my baby Sassy (10 y/o) and my Nephew Jamal (17 y/o). When they came into my life, I was a bit “rough around the edges”. But soon after, they changed my way of thinking and the way I moved. They forced me into maturity. Raising them I’ve learned patience and understanding. Unlearned toxic characteristics that was damaging to myself and my environment. Relearned reasoning and true purpose of life. They Showed me what pain looks like as well as what love feels like. They have brought out the GREATNESS in me and provided me two important reasons to keep going, To keep getting better. They have truly contributed TREMENDOUSLY to the woman I am today.
