We had the good fortune of connecting with Isismari Sanabria and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Isismari, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I want to start by thanking shout Atlanta for allowing me to do this. It is a wonderful opportunity and I am grateful to be nominated. My name is Isismari Sanabria, I am 36 years old was born in Puerto Rico, and grew up in New York City. I am a wife and mother to 5 amazing children. This is the way my story begins: Since as far back as I can remember, I have always liked helping people. It feels great to be able to see family, friends, and clients succeed in their dreams. It has been a long road to get me to where I stand today, I was indecisive as to what I wanted to do as a profession. I studied various careers such as criminal justice, medical assistant, nursing, and even acrylic nail technician. However, none of these career paths made me happy, there was still a void something was missing. Years passed in New York and I didn’t see any of the doors or paths opening so I decided to move to the State of Georgia. I was looking for a positive change for not only my children but myself as well. Georgia presented itself with a lot of opportunities for a better lifestyle for my children which is phenomenal by the way, but a great opportunity fell on my lap. Finally, the right door opened and far from city life, I had the chance to work for a tax firm, as a secretary. Tax firm and secretarial work had nothing to do with all my previous work and schooling, I was hired to help answer the phone, make appointments, greet and receive clients and a vast number of other details that office work held. Who would have thought that I would fall so in love with my job?! Being able to talk to clients daily and servicing their financial needs I knew I had finally found my place. My newfound love gave me the determination to set out to learn more about what my boss at the time did with tax preparation and all the other services she offered. I liked this job so much that I dedicated myself to improving and not only showing my boss that I was more than capable to handle the workload but also giving myself the courage to take on this new world. I did everything from watching videos and attending small courses to get t to know the field better. So, I made all the right decisions, actions, and provisions and I became a tax preparer. Yet I didn’t stop there, I continued studying all the services that this business offered I ended up becoming a complete multi-service in that firm. It’s amazing how things work, since I started building a nice relationship with my clients, I began to offer my services outside of work and it was going so well that one thing led to another and I was no longer a secretary but my boss right hand! I am so incredibly grateful to have been given the opportunity to allow me to grow and gain the necessary experience. 4 years passed with the knowledge and confidence I built up it was finally time to spread my wings and explore the world on my own. Who would have thought that one day I would have my own business? since I had the experience and my very own clients and thanks to all their continued support. I made the decision and opened up my very own office in Sep 2021. This has truly been an unforgettable and magical experience. I am happy to be able to serve my Hispanic community and help all those people who need my services. It has also given me the financial stability that I didn’t find in all the other career paths I previously studied. Being the owner of my own business has helped me not only in health, but I also have control over my schedule and hours and that gives me more time to spend with my family. It’s amazing what a dream, a leap, and a little faith can do to one’s future. I don’t see myself stopping here in the future, I plan on opening another Multiservice office and expanding my business by offering excellent Customer Service. My services are the following: tax, accounting, translations, immigration assistance, creations of all kinds of letters, marriages, divorces, and many more services. With all this assistance I can continue to help people and build my dreams into reality. Thank you all for your continued support, to all the people who had faith in me and came with me on my journey, and to all the new people that I have met and will meet. You all have made this possible and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Sanabria Multiservices is business based on tax preparation, accounting, and other services that helps the Hispanic community. What sets me apart from all the others is my charisma, my personality and my passion to help others. What I am most proud and excited for is the ability to meet such wonderful people and help them with their needs. My journey has been a long one, not as easy as I would have liked it to be and I am here today because of my ambition to learn and continue learning. One of many lessons I have learned is to be patient. Success takes time, don’t ever give up. What I want the world to know about me is, no matter how hard things may get, the bumps in the road, the discouraging comments, the late nights, the tears and pain, there is beauty waiting on the other side. Do not give up your dreams, your passion and most importantly your faith.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First before anything I would like to thank God for giving me this opportunity. To my mother for believing in me and always supporting my decisions. To my children for putting up with the good and bad. My husband for standing by my side and to my friends but one in particular. My biggest fan and supporter Vicky Morillo
