Meet Ishmael Carroll | Entrepreneur and hypeman

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ishmael Carroll and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ishmael, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
My favorite affirmation I came up with is “When all else fails I don’t”. I basically came up with it because when I was around my family or friends and we were in a situation and we had no other options, I would always make something happen and it always worked in our favor. I like it because it keeps me level headed when Im nervous or uncertain of a task.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is a little complicated because I can do anything dealing with art so I’m not just good at one thing. That is how I became a actor, stuntman, dancer, acrobatics, Audio visual technician, and parkour. what I’m proud and most excited about doing this is getting certain opportunities most people were working towards or couldn’t get like my first feature role on Atlanta S3 Ep9 and I got to be of the main crew with childish Gambino. Or me being on the hit show BMF for 3 seasons and becoming part of the main crew. Or even setting up shows for the big named artist like Chris Brown, Drake, lil baby, Madonna, Cyndi lauper, Michael Buble, and many more.
What people should know about me and my brand is, if you have a dream or goal 2hype-entertainment can help you achieve it and be successful. My resume speaks for itself.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Actually one of my favorite places to go while I was setting up for MLB all star weekend was the battery in cobb county. Great food, people, and scenery. The other places I like to visit or see is the underground and the new black wall street too.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are some names I want to say.
My teacher bboy crumbs for teaching me breakin and believing in me.
Mrs honey Rockwell for opening her studio and helping me too.
Mighty Paul for being like my big brother in the dance industry.
My mom Ruth Carroll for always having my back
All my friends who stuck with me through all the ups and downs.
All the people I met on this journey whether good or bad
