We had the good fortune of connecting with Isheunna Gaines and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Isheunna, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
– [ ] As a new mom, from the moment I was made aware of my pregnancy I was focused on what I could provide my daughter in order to improve the quality of her life. Of course, that sparked the drive and motivation behind Treasure Financial Solutions. I became more aware of the importance of financial literacy and the importance of having established good credit. As a young mom for a while I chased money because I felt that money was freedom. It wasn’t until after my pregnancy where I learned that credit is the real freedom. Credit is real power. I also quickly learned that having bad credit was costly in every way. So overall, one of the most important things that I’ve done for Omoehi (my daughter) is fix my credit and learn how to use other peoples money to create a life of financial freedom. I know now that when I leave this world my daughter will be set. Knowledge is power. Educate a woman and you’re educating a nation. My goal this year is to change the lives of 100 families by fixing their credit, teaching ways to use other peoples money and assisting other business owners on how to legally structure their business to receive funding. It was so important to me to have proper knowledge on credit and finances so that I can educate my daughter and create the life that she and I truly deserve.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Treasure Financial Solutions specializes in both business and personal credit. A lot of companies and people can tell you a lot about personal credit and different ways to leverage your personal credit. I honestly think that is great. With my company, we teach both. Many people are unaware of the amount of money that is available to them simply by owning a business as well. I teach my clients the real. I am most excited about teaching people like me the information that has been kept from us for so long. I love to see other people win! I failed my way to where I am at. I had setbacks and long days and nights. It wasn’t easy but it has been so worth it. Learning so much while helping myself and others. It has always been worth it. I overcame my challenges by understanding that there was more to life for me. Once you’ve touched rock bottom, the only thing you can do is look up. Then you have to decide if you’re just going to look up or if you plan to climb towards the top again, Life owes me so much more than mediocrity. The best lesson that I have learned is to just start, even when you are not ready. Go ahead and start. You never know who you may be inspiring. I would like the world to know that my goal is to improve the quality of my clients lives and teach the many gems that most people do not want us to know. Treasure Financial is always here to assist and be of service to others.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I think there is so much to do in Atlanta. I love being outdoors so we would definitely check out Atlanta Botanical Garden. I also love the Aquarium so we would have to stop by Georgia Aquarium. Another place we would definitely go is Atlanta Beltline of course. My friends love a good outdoor picture so that would be nice. To eat of course we would be in a Slutty Vegan line – vegan or NOT! I love their vegan choices. Another place is Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I believe I truly owe it to my mom for me being where I am today and for where I’m going. I watched my mom walk through doors throughout life that many thought she was unqualified for. I had front row seats of her struggles, as well as her much success. She has always motivated me to go harder in life and accomplish more. With everything I do, I can count on my mom to encourage me. I never saw her give up. I’ve literally watched her elevate her life in every way possible. So when I think of a real person who deserves recognition in my life, it’s her. Someone like me. We’ve been through so much because life is always “lifing” but the only way is up for us. She didn’t raise us to think any other way. We both have the same mindset. You’re with us, against us or in our way. All she taught me is go harder. Real next level mindset 100% of the time . So special thanks and shout out to Tee “AlwaysWinning”. It’s in us, not on us.
