We had the good fortune of connecting with ione lowe and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi ione, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I started in the home healthcare field it was just a job for me but as the years went by I began to love it and because I did it so well I know it’s my purpose I know this is what God made me for. I love helping my elderly so I started an agency so I can help everyone.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the owner of my own home health agency. I am a black female 43 of age. This first black young female in Coweta county to own it’s agency. It is a Medical and none Medical My agency can do it all. I have 9 counties. I’m most excited about is where this journey is going to take me. I love and very passionate about what I do I have been a CNA for 21 years. I had this vision over 10 years ago. The last two years I decided to go all the way with it. It was not easy at all I almost gave up. It was vary expensive. But I kept my full time job to help fund my business. My lesson I have learned was to ask for help lol I was try to do everything my self. I came to Georgia from Louisiana in 2005 from hurricane Katrina me and my five kids five boys who I Adore they are men now. We came to Georgia with nothing I actually caught a ride down here with someone I didn’t even have a car. I got to Georgia and I met some wonderful people along the way. People that have became my family now. I have a relationship with nurses doctors etc. my brand S&S Helping Hands Trusted to deliver exceptional compassion care that enhances the health and well-being of our communities. my values or quality respect accountability and respect

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to Dedicate this to my late ex husband Damein Devezin. He is the reason how I got started in the Healthcare field. He was a certified nursing assistant after I met him I went to school and got my certified nursing assistant certificate. He was killed two years ago six days before his son our son 16 birthday wish he was here to see all that I have accomplished.
