We had the good fortune of connecting with Ilice Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ilice, how do you think about risk?
I never understood the value of risk taking until I realized that playing it small with myself and my goals always kept me in the same position in life. I was not growing the way that I knew I could have in the beginning of my career and it trickled over into my life…. I was surrounded by risk takers.. Hell I’m married to one! LOL My husband is a huge risk taker and it wasn’t until he helped me understand the value in self investment that I truly understood what risk taking is. I believe that if you don’t take risks, you’ll always be afraid of being successful. I’ve taken risks that have helped me grow financially and personally.. I’ve also taken risks that didn’t go the way I planned…Was I upset? did I regret it? the answer is absolutely NO… What’s that famous quote? “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I have several successful businesses but my two main businesses are Global Wealth Enterprises & Elegant Hustle Brand.

My Global Wealth business, that I run along side my Husband Mr. Anthony “AJ750” Jackson is our financial literacy platform. With our background in the financial industry and proven systems, our workshops, webinars/seminars and hands on coaching have put 1000’s of people in position by helping them get their personal credit scores and financial situation in order. Many people have benefited from our program and positioned themselves for home ownership, new cars, high limit credit cards and also gained the financial confidence they need to venture out and start their own business. My husband and I both understood the need for real financial literacy guidance especially in our communities and families. I feel that what sets me apart is that we had the experience of being broke, being uneducated and we didn’t allow it to stop us…We navigated through, searched for information, educated ourselves and now we are giving back by doing the same for those who decide they want better as well!

My Elegant Hustle Brand is my baby! It allows me to fully tap into my God given purpose and that is to LEAD! I’ve been dubbed “The Vision Coach” by many of my mentees who attend my vision board workshops held Quarterly. I also host a huge in person one Yearly… I did my very first vision board as an exit project for my business class. I order to pass and obtain my degree I had to complete it… I didn’t know what I was doing at the time.. But a year later I realized that almost everything I put on that board and goals I had written down had literally happened for me!
Because I saw how the vision board helped me to gain self belief, push me to really set goals I started hosting workshops yearly because I knew more people needed an atmosphere where they could plan out their future with no restrictions! I know too often how our surroundings, neighborhoods, current situations etc can effect our ability to envision better for ourselves. So I wanted to become that resource for people.

What I want the world to know through both of my brands, is that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE! Your vision for your future, your goals THEY ALL MATTER! Nothing, no place, no person can stop you besides YOU! So never allow yourself to get in they way of your potential to be great!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am a lover of cigars and wine. One of my most favorite spots in the city is Cam Newton’s FellaShip Cigar Lounge. When I want to unwind and just enjoy being in the moment, network or just simply have a good glass of wine and cigar… The place is very upscale and the crowd is always fun, you also never know what celebrity you’ll meet because they are always there.

Another fav spot is Barcelona Wine Bar! I absolutely love their food and drinks!

Food wise I’d have to say I’m a seafood lover and Juicy Crab is my go to spot! LOL I’m not a picky girl just give me a bag filled with the good stuff Juicy Special Mild!

Atlanta is filled with so much rich history, So besides those spots I mentioned above my friends know I love to learn, especially about our history… So I love to take family and friends to historic places like the MLK National Historic Park area, The Georgia Aquarium, Coca Cola Factory and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to first SHOUTOUT GOD! Because He gave me the purpose that runs through me everyday!

Second my children Nekhia, Royce & Legend… They are my main reason for wanting to keep building, and growing every single day!

My husband Anthony for being the greatest partner in business and in life… Making sure that I understand my potential and pushing me higher!
