Meet Iesha Moody | Founder of iGlammed Up Cosmetics

We had the good fortune of connecting with Iesha Moody and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Iesha, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
For me, success is waking up everyday in good health and seeing the smiles on my children’s faces. I’m able to live a limit free life, travel with my children and husband as much as I please, and break generational curses. Some would define success as being rich but I see it as being wealthy. Wealthy in peace of mind, financial stability, good health, and positive relationships and influences around you. My biggest flex on success will be when my children grow and surpass everything that I’ve been able to accomplish in life.

About 7-10 years ago I would have equated success to material things, but as I’ve grown I have learned that success is merely a state of mind. I am successful because I am truly someone who desires to help others. I value those around me and give value to those around me. That’s really what life is about. Anyone can be successful if you are willing to go after whatever it is that your heart desires.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
iGlammed Up Cosmetics is a luxury, affordable cosmetic brand founded in 2020 with the mission of changing the way that being luxurious is perceived.

I created this brand because as a mom, like many others I began to lose myself in the everyday life of motherhood. I began to forget how important making myself feel good was needed in my everyday routine.

I wanted to create products that made you look and feel like luxury every single time that you used them. I wanted to create products that were easy to apply, safe to use, and made you want to be luxurious every day.

Whether lashes & gloss or a full GLAM face, I want our GLAM babes to know that when you look good, you feel good and that you should look and feel good on every occasion. Whether going on a romantic date or just a run to your favorite department store … GET GLAMMED UP!

We started with just 4 products and now we’ve grown to over 50 with the help and support of our GLAM babes.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to first and foremost dedicate this shout to my husband. He is my backbone, best friend, confidante, mentor, and biggest supporter. Any and everything that I have ever wanted to do, he has always supported 100%. He is my biggest inspiration in this entrepreneur journey because he too is an entrepreneur and he is just the perfect businessman in my eyes. His drive and work ethic is unmatched. My children are my motivation to never give up because they deserve the world!

I’d also like to shoutout my best friend Dominique, my little sister Tamaja, and my cousins Ikea, Beaonca, and Nique. When you hear “you’re friends and family will be the last to support you”, I can’t relate to that. They have been here supporting me from day one! When I started my cosmetic brand, we’d meet every week at my house to do a photo shoot. I’d do everyone’s makeup, and we would use my ring light, poster board as a backdrop, and my iPhone 11 to take pictures. Those photos are now in some of the biggest beauty magazines (Vanity Fair, Vogue, and Cosmopolitan).
