We had the good fortune of connecting with Ibrahim Mohmed and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ibrahim, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand is focusing on what I can control. Seldom do I look at the things that I lack because thats creates major hurdles. I always look at the things that I am working with and how I can turn them into diamonds. By taking care of the things in my control and doing a great job with them, people take notice and other opportunities are brought to me.

What should our readers know about your business?
CourtSide Media is a digital media management agency for influencers. What I am most proud of is the persistence it took to build it to what it is today. Building a talent agency in Columbus, Ohio is not easy and there were few to hardly any companies in the midwest that understand this industry to be able to talk to about building a media business.

The persistence is all glory to God who has showed me and the team that if we work hard and focus on the controllables, He will place the right people and opportunities along the journey and has given the company opportunities that we never imagined.

A big part that has led to the companies success is self-awareness. The most successful people in the world have a vision of where they want to go but don’t know how they are going to get there but they have the confidence that they’ll figure it out. A big part of that is self-awareness in looking at what we are doing and analyzing what worked and didn’t and what we need to change in order to generate a different outcome. Self-awareness catered with persistence has been the reason for our success today.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
This is a tough question because it depends on the person and what they would like to do.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Thank you to my parents, sisters, bando, close friends, girlfriend, and first clients: Thank you for believing in me and supporting me throughout this journey. It has been one uphill battle but the emotional support you have all provided have helped me tremendously. I greatly appreciate your love and investing in me the most important commodity in the world, your time.
