We had the good fortune of connecting with Iannah James-Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Iannah, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
The end goal is being able to inspire the community around me. Not only do I look to run a successful and thriving creative agency, I am thriving to make an impact in my community, giving back the things that I lacked growing up. I have much hope that my agency can be involved in art programs in the school systems as well as, helping entrepreneurs in my local community thrive. I wholeheartedly believe in the saying, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together”. That quote alone says a lot, together, we are a force.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the owner of Bag Lady Branding Agency. We aid small business with establishing a brand presence that helps them stand out in their market. We have expertise in brand design, graphic design & web design. And we just added a new service, billboard services! I am most proud of the experience of running a business, although it’s not easy, it has taught me so much even changing my outlook on life and freedom. I would not be where I am without the unconditional support of my community.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This one is hard! Atlanta has so many amazing things to do. For brunch, i would take them to The Real Milk & Honey, we would then stop by Atlantic Station to do some shopping & chill on the greenery area (it’s a whole vibe) after that we can visit High Art Museum, then visit Our Bar on Edgewood Ave.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my community of supporters, I wouldn’t be nearly as far without them!
