We had the good fortune of connecting with Hunter Hanna and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hunter, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
What I want the most is to be able to look back and feel like I did everything in my power to impact others in a positive way. I think society paints a certain picture and people adhere to it because it’s what they’re told and how they were raised. I’m thankful to be raised by my mother who let me think for myself and do things my own way from a young age. When I was younger, I’d say I had some traumatic things going on that weren’t in my control and made me grow up a lot faster than most. Looking back, I realize it’s a big part of the reason I am who I am. Growth comes from adversity. While I had to grow up faster, I was still not in a good place mentally and didn’t understand the reality of life. After 2 years of working extremely hard on myself, I can finally say I’m happy with where I am. Trust me when I say, no matter where you are in your life, you can always make the best of the situation you’re in and consciously make an effort to be better every day. If you do that for a long enough period of time, it adds up and you will get where you want to be. My goal is to help other people work through their own challenges and do whatever I can to make their life a little bit better.

What should our readers know about your business?
When I first got into Real Estate, I started to notice a theme of salespeople who are only worried about their next paycheck. Fortunately for me, the culture of my office is like none other and I realized early on it’s about more than that. It’s about impacting lives and building relationships with great people. There’s nothing better than what I get to do because I get to help people with their biggest financial asset which also happens to be the place they call home. When I tell you nothing means more to me than that, I mean it. I’m extremely grateful to be in this position and do not take it for granted. Me and my business are different because everything I do is on a personal level and I truly have the best interests of my clients at heart. I guarantee no one will work harder or care as much as I do.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We’re very fortunate to have so much to do and see in Georgia, but if I only had a week, I do have a few favorites. I would specifically narrow it down to places to interact and meet new people. I’d probably start with the Battery at Truist Park (Braves Stadium) and make our way to Downtown Woodstock, Canton Street in Roswell, and then Avalon in Alpharetta. There are endless amounts of things to do and see between just these places alone that would fill up a whole week and then some. I feel lucky to be able to live in such a place where businesses are growing and people are attracted to and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There is only one person that comes to mind and her name is Amy. She saw something in me when no one else did, and if I’m telling the truth, I would not be where I am without her. Before getting into Real Estate, the only thing I knew coming out of High School was that I didn’t want to go to college. I had seen Amy build her business in Real Estate from the ground up and I asked her to meet me so I could pick her brain about it. She immediately was very encouraging and gave me her full support. Throughout my journey so far there have been many ups and downs, but one thing’s for sure, I can always count on her. She inspires me more than she’ll ever know and I hope to be able to leave a similar impact on the lives I touch.
