Hi Henry, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The Umbrella Network was created to be a bridge between business owners and creatives. We provide digital marketing services that have been proven to establish brands’ digital footprint beyond the generic reach. Our network consists of strategists, designers, business planners, and innovative creatives qualified to help clients communicate directly to their core audience.

As an entrepreneur, I realized how many moving parts it takes to build, grow, and sustain one’s business. That’s why I created The Umbrella Network.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, my best friend is an Atlanta Native, so she would know all the spots! (lol) However, for the sake of the question, we would definitely visit the High Museum. This is one of my favorite gems in Atlanta – I can always depend on some inspirational exhibit. We would do brunch a few times, of course! The Hive, Red Peppers, Suite Lounge, and Milk & Honey are some of my favorite spots that I know she would enjoy. She’s also very into sneakers and the cool thing about Atlanta is boutiques and shoe spots come a dime a dozen. We would see a Hawks game (depending on who they are playing) and mostly just enjoy the good weather that’s typically provided, network, and catch up.

It doesn’t take much to please my bestie. We really just enjoy each other’s company when we are able to link.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The Co-Founder of The Umbrella Network, Jaleel, was the only person I felt understood the journey I continue to endure as an entrepreneur. He and I have both set out to develop captivating content and innovative digital campaigns. Without his support, I wouldn’t have had the success I’ve had managing clients seamlessly. He has assisted in managing all design aspects, amplifying how The Umbrella Network streamlines proposal and delivery packages.
