We had the good fortune of connecting with Heidi Huttunen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Heidi, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
She Is Everli is a wedding stationery brand, offering premium printing and digital templates.

Staging the stationery for future brides-to-be has been the most important factor behind the success of She Is Everli. This allows brides to envision the stationery in a setting which they can replicate themselves for their wedding day. Along with this, I have seen the value of this style of content, as this often lands in a bride’s mood board and is shareable across social media.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started my career in wedding photography at the age of seventeen. I am also a self taught graphic designer, which lead me to start a fashion print magazine. This experience wasn’t easy but taught me resilience and also the importance of being passionate about your career, as it’s not always easy but having love for what you do makes it all worthwhile.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Sydney is a vibrant metropolis known for its stunning natural beauty, diverse culture and iconic landmarks such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House, so a tour of the city is a must! We have amazing beaches only a few hours from the city, so a trip to Jervis Bay to see the whitest sand in the world is also a must-see. I would also take a trip to the Blue Mountains for a hike – the views are breathtaking!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am still currently working a 9-5, so having the support of my close family and friends has allowed my side business to flourish over the past 2.5 years. They are understanding of the hustle I am currently experiencing and always willing to offer a hand, whether that be helping tie bows on menus, setting up for photoshoots and taking packages to the post office. The support I receive doesn’t go unnoticed and I’m so thankful.
