We had the good fortune of connecting with Hannah Magill and Alia Guidry we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hannah & Alia, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
It may seem small but making our bed every morning automatically sets us off on the right foot. We also make a daily to-do list and prioritize taking breaks to get outside to reset our minds and body. There is so much emphasis on working hard and not enough on taking necessary breaks.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We often allow ourselves to be unfiltered and we think our audience really appreciates that, especially in a time where many content creators are seen as performative. We are most proud of our ability to reach others who are willing to share their stories all because we shared ours with them.

We got to where we are today with a lot of patience, commitment, consistency and vulnerability. It certainly came with its handful of challenges but luckily for us, challenges only make us want to be better and work harder. We wouldn’t be where we are without the difficult times because they taught us lessons we wouldn’t have otherwise learned. We’ve learned that it’s not worth trying to please everyone and that authenticity pays off.

Hers and Hers is a brand based on honesty, authenticity, and creating change.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We love this question and wish we had more to say, but in fairness, we moved to the city only a few months ago and after getting vaccinated, have only started exploring it in the last couple of weeks. With that said, we can wholeheartedly recommend the rooftop at The Hotel Clermont and the delicious food at El Ponce, located just down the block.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
