We had the good fortune of connecting with hajeyy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi hajeyy, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve always wanted to sing and make music since I was younger and finally made it happen when I was 13. But throughout the years of discovering other things, I discovered wanting to do more than music. I’m starting my own clothing brand business, along with doing music, not only to have multiple streams of incomes, but to put myself into another realm of business.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m still not satisfied with where I’m at. A lot of my supporters look at me like I’m famous or up, but I’m not even close. There’s so much more I want to accomplish with not only my music, but my brand as well. It took a long time to get where I am, but I’m glad I did everything I did. I wouldn’t change anything. I want people to see my name and always be able to say I’m different. I don’t like being like other artist…saying the same things or using the same type of beats. I’m my own unique person.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Even though I’m from Atlanta, I don’t really go out unless I’m going to concerts. So if I did have a friend come down here, I’d probably try and go to a concert with them.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d say shoutout to my aunt because without her having a boyfriend who does music, I probably would’ve never started making actual music since I had no studio. Even after that I started recording on my own with help from friends who did music too.
