Meet Haile Ali | Musician & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Haile Ali and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Haile, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process is when I was starting my business was fluid. I already decided that what I wanted to provide and how I wanted my brand to be represented. Music has always been my passion. I know I wanted to yes be a great business and have my business be lucrative but I also wanted to love what I was doing and be passionate about it. The idea of making money was relevant but was secondary to the cultural aspect of my business. My Culture being expressed was very important to me !

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a producer. ! Also an Emcee but I’ve been leaning more into production the last couple of years ! One thing I love about producing is I get to speak without words. To explain and express how I feel sonically is different from writing a song with words. Becoming a producer wasn’t particularly easy for me , I had no prior musical intelligence outside of just loving music, lol writing rhymes and dancing. The way I am able to just get lost in various tones is the most fulfilling part, to see myself become interested in sounds I’ve never heard before. One of my favorite things to say about me as a producer is “ I used to be wack “ ! For me it’s speaks volumes to my growth. To start as a novice and now be stepping into what I know and feel is me mastering a talent and gift I didn’t know I had.
I’ve always been a great writer but I didn’t know I would produce the way I do now. A lesson I’ve learned along my way is to be a problem solver ! When you want to grow at something it isn’t always easy but that’s when you become the most passionate ! Work harder when you feel your down to your last , know you have a little more in your tank beyond what you think your limit is.
One thing I will like people to know about my brand is that we’re a Real Family Brand. Beyond all the Highlights were family here at Legacy, we actually care about you and how your day is going.
