Meet Gift Muringani | Commercial Janitorial Services

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gift Muringani and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gift, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Hello my name is Gift Muringani. I am a 25 year old business owner originally from Southern Africa. I was raised in Southern California and that’s where my love for business started. I have been able to build my commercial cleaning business to be able to generate well over six figures, operate in 5 states and now I have course I have created to teach other people the same. I originally started my business at the age of 19 after I dropped out of college in pursuit of fulfillment and value. I attended Arizona State University studying sciences. Prior to leaving college, I created an entertainment company, in which we put on events that were bringing in well over 2000-3000 people per event. We created a well respected brand and were among the top event companies on the western coast.
After building a company that did extremely well at young age, I still felt like something was missing. The lack of fulfillment was what lead me into other pursuits and that’s how I stumble across the cleaning industry. Through trial and error I was able to build a brand over six years that has now changed my life entirely and has given me the fulfillment I was lacking.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets us apart is we cater to everyone. Most service based business have a desired client that they target. For us we aim to help anyone and everyone who is in need of janitorial services.
I am most proud of where we currently are. We are in 5 states, have amazing employees and teams that are fully dedicated in our vision. Also we have been over to help over thousands of family and business with their cleaning needs and a reasonable price.
Trial and error was what got us here. Not quitting and having people around who maybe complete strangers, but are fully invested in your vision is what got us here. Easy, no not at all, it was a process in which I almost gave up multiple times but prayer and perseverance is the fuel that got us here.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned in this business is, putting people first. When you focus on doing the best job possible the money that you make becomes a side-effect.
We will be the biggest Commercial janitorial Services Company in the world! If a kid from Gweru, Zimbabwe can start from nothing and still become successful YOU CAN TOO!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Currently I just moved to Atlanta,GA butte been frequenting the Havana Lounge. So that is a mandatory spot.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My parents were a huge influence in my success. Coming from an African house hold, the narrative has always been go tot school, get education and work. As opposed to the route I took. prior to telling the my plans, I was terrified to tell them I was leaving school to pursue my business.
Shockingly enough, the supported my 1000% and that motivated me even more to not let them down and put my all into this venture.
