We had the good fortune of connecting with Giacomo Russo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Giacomo, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
Work life balance should be the most important goal. My life is changed a lot when I put my career before everything else, sometimes I forget to live the moments, my head and my thoughts are focused in tattooing.
The right balance for me is to have a break after you finish your work, just go home and live your family, your friends and live the life as best you can out of work

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I think the difference between us and the others is the respect we have with each other, we are almost 15 tattoo artists in one shop and we are like a big family, so we have advices every single moment of the day. I’m proud of myself because I had to fight a lot for my goals, the city where I come from it’s not so easy to live, I had to go hard in life,
Often I didn’t sleep because there were too many thoughts, business, friend, family, sometimes I wanted to quit with all of them but that’s not for my person, I prefer to solve all the problems in the best way.
The most important lesson I learned about my story is that I can do it, whatever my head tells me, I can do it!
I want that people knows about what difficulties brings in your life, like anxiety and other relational problems, I tell you, it’s not easy, but you can keep going and let everything go back on your shoulders

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
In my whole career I have to thanks, first all, myself, without discipline I could never have the level I have. I have to thank my guys and of course people who trust me and my steps.
