We had the good fortune of connecting with Gerald(o) Kokra-Malaval and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gerald(o), we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Financial freedom . FREEDOM In general

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a photographer whose work focuses more on realism . I like tangible stories which is the main reason why I love documentary photography. I also do shoot high fashion or at least am aiming for at that as well as editorials.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I have just recently moved to New York City this far I don’t have a favorite spot but in general I’m really addicted to coffee shops .

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have a lot of people that I want to express gratitude towards. My mentors Keana , Moyo , Django . My group of friends that at the time really sparkled something new in me Isaac Adoyi , Malik Adoyi . Cesar . But last but not least a very good friend of mine named Nasia Thomas who’s a superstar and magnificent human being in the Broadway and music theater industry .
