We had the good fortune of connecting with Georgia Lynn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Georgia, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
I love this question! Our definition of success is programming we download from our culture and family. It’s important to redefine what success looks like for you, especially in our materialistic culture. Otherwise, you might end up running a race you don’t even truly want to be in.

I checked off all the boxes that I thought would make me successful by age 28. I went to a “good” college, started a career that was considered “acceptable”, got married to a man with a “successful” career, got a house, had a beautiful baby, all the things…(ps-wouldn’t change any of this).

And then at age 28, (during my Saturn return) I was really confused to find that it didn’t feel like I’d reached any kind of success at all. At which point, I started a journey of finding mySelf and what success meant to me.

I’m nearing my 35th birthday in a few months (a 7 year cycle complete), and here’s what success means to me:

Having enough of everything I need and really want, and trusting my power to manifest more as needed.

Freedom to play, rest, and nourish my energy, so I can enjoy and be present for the people I love.

Unlimited creative freedom and space to channel new offerings that have a positive impact on my community.

And eating queso without any guilt.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Our world is experiencing soul sickness—a separation from the something bigger that connects us all. I guide people in reconnecting with their spiritual truth. I offer 1:1 support, and I facilitate circles for communal healing.

What sets me apart is I’m rebellious. I’m not here for for wellness. I’m here for realness. This is important because we don’t need people who can fit in with a sick status quo. We need people who are following their own soul callings to create something new.

I’ve absolutely encountered challenges along my entrepreneurial journey–what entrepreneur hasn’t spun out with imposter syndrome, comparison, and all of the self-doubt/fear that can come with taking risks and putting yourself out there? What I love about my work is that it’s always bringing me closer to who I am and why I’m here. Entrepreneurship is spiritual work.

I want everyone in the world to know this: you have a calling–something you’re meant to channel through you and onto this Earth. The courageous journey you take in answering your calling will be an adventure that heals you and our planet.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love being in nature, so we’d head up to one of my favorite hikes–the East Palisades trail. This place is like a little slice of wilderness ITP. Afterwards, we’d be thirsty, so we’d need to head to Elsewhere. I’m a huge fan of IPA beers, and they sometimes have music there on Sundays. I have an 8-year-old son, so we’d 100% spend some time either riding bikes through Piedmont Park with him or hanging out at our local playground. We’d have to take a yoga class at Highland Yoga (sweat out the beer…), and grab doughnuts at Revolution Doughnuts at some point. And a trip to the High Museum is never not a great time!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, I dedicate this shoutout to all of the courageous souls I’ve had the privilege of working with over the years. I learn just as much from my clients as they do from me. We’re mirrors for each other and grow together. I’m also super grateful for the loving support I’ve received from my friends and family. Like any solo entrepreneur, I talk about my business a lot. They’ve patiently held compassionate space for all of the ups and downs that come with life and business. Finally, I’ve been blessed with some powerhouse mentors, healers, and teachers who’ve helped me see my light when I’m in the dark, including Meg Gillespie, Jenn Streck, Lillian Charles, Seth Oberst, Leigh Mallis, and Elizabeth Rowan.
