We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabrielle Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabrielle, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Everything in life is a choice which is another way of saying you are taking risk in life everyday. I believe taking risk is just playing into the “what if’s” I think about every possibly that could go positive or negative and how would those out comes contribute to me. There are somethings That I did in my career that was not in my favor, such as over buying fabric for a collection that didn’t perform the way I attend it too. Did it hurt, yes! but it also a lesson that I’m thankful.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a visionary women with big dreams, I can make the most creative fashion edits you have ever seen. I also focus my art into make garments that matches a handbag. Its one of my signature stable in my designing career “If the bag matches the fit, its a YEEZA made”. I always had the style in school but never the drive to become. a designer until COVID happen in 2020. I bought my first sewing machine and began to make my first two piece set. Mostly because I didnt have any going out clothes, I use that as my goal to make my own pieces. Surprisily 2020 was the year, everyone seem to pick up a new hobby. Now 4 years later. My little hobby became a career, I was able to show off my collection at Los Angeles Fashion Week in 2023. Although I’ve done many fashion shows, My brand is still not where I want it to be, I’m having a hard time with branding. I know my time is coming because my talent is always shinning.

While I take majority of my time with creating videos and sewing, I also gain a passion for acting and the fiery passion to continue to purse a modeling career.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
One thing about me, I’m all bout live events, So if my best friend was to come’s to Atlanta, were definitely going to The battery at night, there’s so much to do after watching a baseball game, maybe bounce over to Pappadeaux, Seafood restaurant. We can also stop by anywhere in Peidmont Park, I love the view and Midtown holds a special place in my heart because its center around the arts.
