We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabe Treiyer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabe, what do you attribute your success to?
The biggest reason for my success is how dedicated I am to music and the relentless pursuit of my dreams.I believe that as a musician, it’s important to be unique and true to yourself, not trying to outdo others. While there may be countless musicians with superior technical skills, what sets me apart is my drive and how much I love music and how hard I work at it.

I’ve been lucky to achieve a lot of goals and make my dreams come true through music. Every song I play, every time I perform, and every time I work with other musicians, I put all my effort and excitement into it. I’m really determined about my music, making sure I give my best to every concert or project.

Music isn’t just a job for me—it’s who I am. It’s what keeps me going, shapes who I am, and keeps me working hard to succeed. Through music, I’ve not only found a way to express myself but also a deep sense of purpose and happiness.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Currently when not touring, i’m playing locally at the biggest local venues with Rexine, a young lady from the Orlando area who has an incredible voice and her stage presence unparalleled. Besides her, i’m making sessions for other artists and recording for my own solo projects.

Also, i’m fortunate enough to have played with Grammy Award winners and Platinum and Gold records artists like (six times Grammy Ward winner) Bobby Kimball of TOTO, Dave Bickler of Survivor (who has won both a Grammy Award and an Academy Award nomination), Jon Anderson of YES, Steve Hackett of Genesis, Steve Rothery of Marillion, Jakko Jakszyk of King Crimson, Bruce Kulick of KISS, Johnny Edwards of Foreigner, Wally Palmar of The Romantics, Alex Ligertwood of Santana, Paul Shortino of Quiet Riot and Rough Cutt, Joel Hoekstra of Whitesnake and Cher, Joe Lynn Turner of Rainbow, Monte Pittman of Madonna, Gene Loves Jezebel, Tommy Denander of Alice Cooper and Paul Stanley, and many other musical giants.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, I live in the Orlando area, which means I’m right next to the Disney & Universal Parks, and just with that, you’ve got a lot of ground covered. But also, you have the Kennedy Space Center an hour away as well as the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico one hour away too. Believe me, a week won’t be enough…

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I think Rexine, the singer i’m currently working in Orlando with deserves the shoutout because her talent it’s something it needs to be heard.
