We had the good fortune of connecting with FVLLAZ and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi FVLLAZ, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Here are the 10 important factors behind my success and the success of my band,

1. Having a clear plan
The first thing you can do to have a successful life is to lay out a plan.

2. Prioritising your goals
Once you have made a list of your goals, it is important to prioritise them. Some goals may be long term, while others short term. It is important to dedicate your time according to each goal.

3. Acquiring relevant education and skills
The world is very fast-paced and competitive, hence to succeed you may have to acquire relevant educational qualifications. A good education may provide you with ample knowledge, insights and a comprehensive understanding to help you achieve success in your chosen profession.

4. Cultivating good habits
Habits are your lifelong companions, hence it is important that you cultivate good habits that help you to be more productive and organised. This can help boost your capacity and help achieve goals.

5. Having a positive attitude
Try to have a positive and constructive attitude. You can choose to see the positive side of things in every situation, no matter the circumstances. A positive attitude can affect every aspect of life and may help you tackle difficult circumstances.

6. Learning from your mistakes
Mistakes and failures are inevitable in life. Although, one can achieve success by trying and failing many times. Learn from your previous failures and try to put that learning into practice.

7. Being open to new things
An openness to new things can improve your opportunities for gaining new experiences and learning about new possibilities. Be open to new ideas, methods and experiences. Try out unconventional strategies to perform routine tasks.

8. Taking risks
Taking risks might be challenging for most people. People tend to stick to what they know, but that limits the possibility of finding something better. Try out different strategies and methods. Take well researched, smart risks which can turn out to be very fruitful.

9. Working hard
There can be no substitute for hard work. It is an essential requirement if you want to be successful, whether it is in your personal or professional life. Working hard may not come easily, but with consistent effort, it may become easier

And last but not least,
10. Always being prepared
Preparation is crucial to achieving success. Whether it is for a meeting or a presentation, always ensure that you do your own research. This can help you to contribute meaningfully to any conversation, ask relevant questions and come up with solutions.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a dancehall artist, but still not an artist that only depend on just musical income, I have many many other talents so we can just say I’m multi talented and very gifted but music is my first love and that is where my focus is the most, music is my comfort zone where I get to explore many different concept, the difference with me is that I’m very adoptive and can adopt to any style and any genre.

While music for me talent wise is easy, monetary wise music is expensive and cost a lot especially because of the fact that I’m an independent artist with no management team or anyone giving me any sort if compensation to do music, it’s just me my own money and my talent, I pay for everything every step of the way.

I overcome all those challenges by using the love that I have for it, even if I’m spending wildly on my Craft I will not cause because one day I know it will pay off and I will make way more than I am spending.

I want the world to know that I will hit and when I hit I will hit big, not just a one hit but multiple hits and I am putting it out there in the universe because I’m confident that it will happen!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For the record I do have a best friend and we have already been the place that I’m about to mention but let’s just say it’s somebody that I’ve just recently met with online of something and they are taking a trip to visit me, firstly if he/she is a seafood lover I would bring them to have a great meal at seafood restaurant called “seafood wagon, which is located at Long bridge ave ,May pen Clarendon, Jamaica. The ambiance and rustic atmosphere is top quality and very inviting, especially for the food lovers and the staff are extremely friendly too, I am even likely to introduce the owner to them as he is always there to make sure his customers are enjoying their time, I highly recommend that place.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I just want to say big up every body in the music business that came before me, bob marley, Vybz kartel, Aidonia, spice, masicka, skillibeng, shenseea, mad cobra, movado, alkaline & popcaan just to name a few, they paved the way for me to make an entrance.
