We had the good fortune of connecting with Francessca Tuggle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Francessca, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I have had the idea for a Traveling Luxury Florist since about 2017! But never had the opportunity to launch such a thing due to college courses, as well as the part-time positions I found myself in simultaneously. Until I was furloughed from my Executive Concierge role within the Hilton franchise as a result of covid, I did not have the chance–but as soon as that happened in March 2020, Goldie’s Flower Truck was born!

As most families were unable to visit their loved ones for months (especially around Mother’s Day), business really started *blooming.* Since as early as April 2020, I have designed wedding florals for my valued clients; up to this day, I have served over 48 brides & grooms & counting.

Over the course of all 2022, we are on track to serve about 3 dozen more!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We brand ourselves as a Traveling Luxury Wedding Florist, full-time. We specialize in designing custom floral arrangements that are unique to each & every bride. In the state of Florida & Georgia, GFT has become known as one of the most affordable Wedding Florists around. I am definitely most proud of how far the brand has come! What started as every-day delivery dreams has grown wonderfully into an established & well-known U.S. company. I give all the Glory to God–& I think this also is what helps set my brand apart from others!

I would say the only challenge my business has faced is singularly that, because of my faith, there are those that won’t do business with me. However, I have never let this discourage our efforts! I know that as long as I’m doing the Lord’s work & following his Will in my career, I can’t go wrong. When a company has chosen to build its foundation on the only constant thing in life (Jesus), it makes running said company a great deal easier.

I find it very important as my business continues growing & my team continues booking weddings that I always treat people with kindness, whether I am treated that same way or not. I believe serving others is a huge part of my calling as a Believer, as well as Wedding Vendor!

My years of experience have only solidified my philosophy that being friendly, responsive, & generous with clientele is a nonnegotiable business policy. And while I make my work more affordable than most other florists, exceptional quality is another must for GFT! I think this helps us stand out even more so.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I have lived in Brevard County, Florida my entire life within the same household in Melbourne. Needless to say, I know the city well! When people ask for meal recommendations, I always direct them downtown, whether to Crush XI, The Burger Place, or Cryderman’s. As far as cozy cafes for visiting or etc, I adore the Sun Shoppe & (more recently) Foxtail Coffee! Activities-wise, there is ice skating in Rockledge & mini-golf at Andretti’s, but for shopping, the Avenues in Viera are quite the catch.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The Lord first & foremost deserves the most gratitude by far (more gratitude than I’m even able to give!) He has been so, so Faithful to me during every step of this journey. Next, my family! I come from a large one, & they have supported me tremendously in all sorts of different ways.

I’d also do well to thoroughly thank my WONDERFUL brides of the past–without the first few that believed in me, we wouldn’t have gotten so far!

Additionally, the Central Florida community of Wedding Professionals has been exceptional; so many ladies in the state of Florida are so willing & ready to support others alongside them, & I love that!

Finally, I owe the second-largest majority of my thanks to the most gracious person I’ve ever met: my fiance! Although we’ve been engaged only a short time, he’s been my #1 Fan & Supporter since the very beginning! I thank God for him every day.
