We had the good fortune of connecting with Favour Robinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Favour, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Commitment is a value that matters to me most, because I strongly believe it precedes success and everything else that comes with it. There are way too many people in the world who have interests and aspirations that never become a reality to due lack of commitment for pursuit. There is not much anyone can accomplish in this life without a personal sense of commitment to their convictions and actions.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I believe my personal journey of transformation and overcoming hardship is what sets me apart from others. I have never been one who allows situations to define the outcome of my life. From the start of my career, I understood that fear is a master at crippling people and robing them of their dreams. I wasn’t going to let fear rob me of the possibility of not only transforming my life but also the lives of others around the world. A life worth living is a life worth fighting for. One of my greatest assets is my faith. Cultivating a life of faith has given me the tenacity I needed to confront all fears and overcome every challenge I have faced along the way. It wasn’t easy in the beginning but it was always worth it. Sometimes it is not about whether it’s easy, you fight for what it’s worth. I overcame fear, poverty mind-set, the opinions of people, many perceived and lived limitations by simply believing that all things are possible. The moment I can convince myself that something is possible, I pursued it, regardless of the obstacles. Let’s say, I consider myself UNSTOPPABLE!

I have learned a number of lessons along the way, but I’ll share two here;
1. There are many prices to pay for our success but the one price you should never pay is the cost of being someone else. It’s not worth it. Being you is inexpensive but carries the highest value. JUST BE YOU!
2. Stay hungry for knowledge so that you’ll always have room for growth. We start dying when we stop growing, no matter how successful we are.

I would like world to know that I am all about helping people succeed beyond making a pay check. Anything worth building should be “Built to Last.”

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I wish I could give recognition and credit to my success to one single
individual. That will mean robbing many others of the credit they
deserve for having played a part in my success. I am dedicating this
shoutout to every single person who has mentored, coached, and supported
me over the last 10 years of my journey to becoming a world class
leader, especially my amazing husband who was not intimidated to
pursue me to be his wife while at the same time challenging me to
dream bigger.
