We had the good fortune of connecting with Farrahn Cox-Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Farrahn, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I came up with the idea for my business when I became a Licensed Esthetician nine years ago for my passion of skincare and beauty. I wanted to implement a name that represented both myself and my brand and that’s where I came up with Fahrenheit Faces. Fahrenheit which is a scale to measure temperature which I combined with faces, measuring beautiful hot faces.

What should our readers know about your business?
Fahrenheit Faces is a skincare studio that focuses on treating and correcting skincare concerns of all diversities. We take pride on using the best natural clean ingredients for our products. Our skin is the largest organ on our body and we have to keep in mind what we put on our skin will absorb in our body. What sets Fahrenheit Faces apart from others is offering a holistic approach of a variety of services to our clients like oncology skincare, brow threading and henna brow tinting, waxing, male grooming, semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo such as ombre brows, lip blushing and tattoo removal. Being an entrepreneur requires your full undivided attention. It’s not easy and there will be countless days of late nights and early mornings planning and preparing for the next move. The beauty industry changes everyday with the latest technology hitting the market so it’s important to stay on top of the newest trends and most importantly continuing education. I overcome challenges by staying in my own lane and not focusing on what the next person or business is doing. It only creates more anxiousness and chaos when you start to compare yourself to others and it can drag you into a negative space. I tend to focus on the positive and create a healthy mindset and good energy figuring out what works best for my business and how I can help others. The biggest challenge I was faced with was the pandemic when everything shut down from COVID-19. I’ve seen so many businesses close and shut it’s doors because of the negative impact it had on their business. I love to see everyone around me win and seeing how hard others worked to build their brand and grow their businesses all to close down is really sad. I thank God for his favor and blessings, and to never give up on myself. What life lessons I have learned along the way is that it’s ok to make mistakes, you learn from them and grow. Work smarter and not harder staying true to who you are and enjoy what you love and most passionate about. It’s good to sit in a moment of stillness. That’s where all the creative thoughts and innovative ideas come to life. Anything is possible and attainable if you believe and trust yourself. Step out on faith and try. If you don’t try you will never know where life will take you based off fear of failure. I’m excited for this new year and ready to breakthrough globally with an upcoming skincare line. Stay tuned for more from Fahrenheit Faces.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would first take them to one of my husband and I favorite brunch spots to eat, it’s called Toast on Lenox. It’s located in Buckhead. They have these healthy shots of cold pressed juice made from turmeric and ginger to keep you healthy not to mention the amazing food and vibes. Another place we enjoy is called The Breakfast Boys located in College Park, GA. A great place to eat and listen to good music while sipping on your favorite mimosa or basil peach sweet tea and the food is phenomenal. Next, go visit the High Museum of Art and check out some nice art displays. I would take them to PCM (Ponce City Market) to grab a bite to eat and walk around the belt line to see the beautiful views of the skyline of Atlanta. A nice elegant dinner at this restaurant called Canoe and visit Ray’s on the River with amazing seafood and views overlooking the Chattahoochee River. The weekend I would take my friends up to Toccoa Falls to hike and see the amazing falls. Take a short drive over to Helen to visit a winery and Blue Ridge Mountains at the cabins overlooking the mountains and watching the sunset from the hot tub relaxing. I would also take them to visit the Montaluce Winery and Restaurant to taste the most wonderful fine wines and charcuterie boards.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to first and foremost give praise to God for his blessings and creating this beautiful journey and purpose in my life. A great big shoutout to my wonderful parents, my amazing husband and children that I absolutely adore and love for their unwavering love and support. My family and friends I call my village because they all play a major role in my life and have helped me overcome life adversities. I’m forever grateful and thankful for each and everyone of them. They’re the reason I keep going and growing and all things are possible and attainable. I’ve been very fortunate to meet some incredible people along the way that have inspired me.
