We had the good fortune of connecting with Fabiano Montesano and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Fabiano, why did you pursue a creative career?
Everything started with my early fascination with Michael Jackson and the ability to perform his choreographies at a young age showcase a natural inclination for the arts. The stage feels like my home, and adding music later reinforced my passion. Pursuing my artistic or creative career often stems from a deep sense of fulfillment and joy derived from the creative expression. I just love what I‘m doing and being me.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My dream is still to make the impossible possible.
Many don’t know that I’m in Germany but striving to establish myself in the USA because I simply love the music and the way I grew up with it.
Among the highlights, certainly working on the comic soundtrack for Wesley Snipes’ “The Exiled,” which won a few awards.
My musical journey and the development through distance to reach this point are significant moments. The path doesn’t end here; I’ve just begun. My goal is independence, being able to shape my life freely, doing what I love, surrounded by the closest people I have.
Of course, there were also negative experiences with record labels, managers, and more, but that’s part of the development. As they say, those who haven’t lost can never be winners.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
To be honest, I’m a total bore when it comes to that. I’d prefer to relax, chill on the beach, catch some good movies in the cinema, because what truly interests me is in my studio. It’s the work I love doing, and if I can’t do it, I’m always thinking about it and get restless after a few days, haha. Sometimes, it’s better to just book someone a dream vacation, so I can’t go wrong, with this one. But ey, I do love to relax and chill don‘t get this wrong.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Oh, the list is quite extensive, starting with my mentor Ian from England. We shared many experiences and always had a great connection. I miss the times when we used to plan and work on things together, but unfortunately, the environment didn’t lead us to where we always thought we would be at that time. I’ve learned a lot from him on my musical journey, and our conversations were foundational. Of course, my family and closest people have also been crucial and supportive throughout my journey
