We had the good fortune of connecting with Evangelist Sylvia Faircloth and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Evangelist Sylvia, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
The most important lesson that my career has taught me is to have determination. I have learned to not give up on your vision, but have a made up mind that you can succeed.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As far back as I can recall,I loved to write and speak.I knew that writing would be a passion of mine.I loved speaking in large arenas as well.I started writing inspirational pieces to encourage myself and others.I would later become a professional writer. The Lord spoke to me and Basketcase Ministry was birthed. I’m asked by a lot of my followers where did the name Basketcase come from.I begin to say that many people in life had been beat up,knocked out and are very wounded. In the early days of Military when the soldiers was so wounded they couldn’t be moved from the place of injury, they had to be carried to a place safety.A soldier would bring what would look like a basket and carry them to a safety zone until it was safe.My Ministry in today’s time Jesus has carry us to a place of safety because of our wounds, whether physical or mental.I reach out and I am that basket that takes the case, no matter how bad your wounded and heal them with the love of Jesus.
I want people to know that there is always hope.We all have some type of gift on the inside of us.Whatever gift you have locked up on the inside,Baskecsse Mjnistry wants to bring it out.
My journey has not been easy.I have come from a tough life and I know that love is a powerful force.I love helping people who may not can help themselves…
Writing out of my Collections:
My faith ,my spirit
has seen me through
the hardships,the pain
that I had to endure
Hold on,don’t give up
Your change is about to come
The Lord will help and carry you through
Just like the Ministry that Basketcase
do.
I understand, what your going through
Hold on…
