We had the good fortune of connecting with Eva Melton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eva, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
“Resources rise to meet the vision” is my favorite quote and affirmation. Early one morning around 3 am before I was fully awake, these words were given to me by Spirit. It is both a quote and an affirmative prayer. In some traditions it would be called a prophetic decree.

Personally, it is indicative of a spiritual principle that resources do actually appear to meet true spiritual vision. It is also an affirmative prayer for me now in the present tense. It affirms that resources are rising to meet the true vision that I hold for my life. Without vision, we are lost.

This quote holds the key to manifestation. When we can rest with and set our intention towards our vision in a certain vibratory state, we become co-creators in the immaterial becoming material.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I show up as a spiritual healer specializing helping beautiful souls find new gateways to freedom and inner harmony. The people that seek me out are those who are experiencing byproducts of being conditioned by their family of origin, the culture or systems of this world. They come realizing they are looping in negative patterns and need assistance breaking the cycle. Through my natural gifts spiritually, I am able to tap into the non-physical parts of them and together we begin to lift up programming from the subconscious that doesn’t serve their true identity.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
All of my friends know I love spirituality, a good book and a spacious coffee shop.

Our first stop would be to Olive Branch Mind & Body Suites. This is the beautiful space that holds my healing room. It carries a vibe that resonates with me. I’d introduce them to the other healers onsite including the massage therapists and the mental health therapists who have their own suite.

Then we’d head over Santos Coffee shop in Hoover. We’d have a nice pastry, hot tea and share our books. They’d get to experience first hand why this is my favorite coffee shop in the city.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
In this present season of life, I am most impacted by the life work of Rev. Michael Bernard Beckwith. While I don’t have a personal relational connection to him, on a spiritual level his teachings resonate with me deeply. He is the curator of the “Take Back Your Mind” podcast which features spiritual discussions that fuel me weekly.

A current growth focus for me is around the area of mental and emotional dominion and since the inception of his podcast I have come to understand what dominion means for me. Dominion comes with a great deal of stewardship of self. He is a linguistical genius and presents spirituality in way that encourages me to dig deeper in my own spiritual practice.

He’s a great speaker and I began listening to his spiritual center’s services during in 2020 when I was living alone and able to focus deeply on spiritual things due to the shutdown and telecommuting opportunity. His progression to podcasting carries deeper meaning for me and I am able to hear the spiritual experiences of others in a way that fuels me.
